Wonderful!
We just got back from six nights at the Sofitel CDMX and honestly, I've never been sadder to be home. There's a reason this is the best reviewed hotel in CDMX! It's beautiful, spotless, incredibly well maintained, the food is amazing, the view is literally the best in the city. Everything is perfect. I think what really stood out however is the personal care and attention. We had a very tiny issue on the second day of our trip - we brought it up and it was attended to super promptly. The hotel staff also took extra care to make it up to us afterwords (though they did not need to) and went above and beyond to make our stay extra amazing from that moment forward. Honestly, it was almost TOO much! One final thing I wanted to mention that really was so meaningful to me. One night as we were returning to the hotel a staff member at the entry level concierge desk stopped us and handed our 8 year old son a card with the hotel's name and address on it. He told him that if he got separated from us, he could use that card to give to a police officer or a helper and they would know where he needed to go. He made sure my son put it in his pocket. It was so thoughtful - I was blown away, truly. I am a neurotic parent and already make sure we have an apple tag on him, but even I hadn't thought of doing that. It was just super thoughtful and a small extra gesture that made us feel like the hotel cared about our stay on more than just superficial levels. In short, can't say enough. If you're considering staying here it's worth every penny.

Superb service. Spectacular view. Delicious guacamole and top-notch cocktail/mocktail menu. Lots of Mezcal creations and fresh fruit accompaniments. This place is perfect for happy hour or small bites. I’ll be back to try the short-rib tacos.

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere. Was incredible. Great place for any type of special occasion. Our server was Ernesto and he took great care of us and was very attentive. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had most wonderful stay at the Sofitel! We were celebrating our anniversary and my birthday and this stay was exactly what I wanted! They had most delicious cake waiting for us on our anniversary day and the staff at the restaurant brought a cake with special candle at breakfast. Everyone from the concierge team, front desk and the dining staff were wonderful!
