Known for its signature butler service, exquisitely appointed accommodations, outstanding spa treatments and generally impeccable taste, each St. Regis property delivers unparalleled luxury. The St. Regis Mexico City boasts a second-to-none location, ideally situated on distinguished Paseo de la Reforma, with the financial district of Polanco and the Castle of Chapultepec a mere 10-minute drive away. Mexico City's newest hotel promises to be its most exclusive address, offering the finest of everything to the discerning traveler.

I was a little surprised by the hotel in comparison to the other St. Regis Hotel I stayed at. The lobby is less impressive and the staff is not as attentive as the hotel in Asia. The rooms are also a little smaller and butler service is a little less attentive. Great location in Reforma, close to Roma Norte and Polanco by walking.

I stayed from August 2-9, 2025, in a Junior Suite. It was a little more than I'd wanted to spend on the room, but (in my opinion) ended up being very much worth it. I'm Lifetime Titanium with Marriott, and though I wasn't offered an upgrade, the room was still fantastic. The hotel itself is wonderful, though the style is starting to show just a little bit of age (lots of wood paneling in the rooms, carpeting choices, etc). I did very much enjoy the rainfall shower, but was puzzled by the tub (it's awkwardly positioned in the bathroom, and didn't get much light). Honestly, these are minor nitpicks. Where the hotel truly shines is in its service. The St. Regis prides itself on its service, and this hotel is no exception. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome and "at home." When seeing you, every staff member, regardless of who they are, will stop what they are doing and greet you with a big smile. And every night, you are treated to a spectacular ceremony where the butlers will "saber" champagne for the guests. The location can't be beat--it's one of the main reasons I chose the hotel--it's almost directly next to Chapultepec Forest, which gets you within walking distance of Chapultepec Castle (the National History Museum), the Anthropology Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art. If you're a runner, the forest also offers fantastic trails and the concierge at the hotel can help with recommendations. The hotel is *not* near the traditional "touristy" areas (e.g., the Zócalo), but it is just north of Roma/Condesa, which tends to be fairly Anglicized, offering a range of fantastic rooftop bars and restaurants. I loved the in-hotel restaurant *so much* that I ended up eating there fairly frequently, and I highly, highly recommend the short rib tacos (though if you ask the servers, they will also recommend getting one of each kind). The bar is one of my favorite places to have a cocktail, read a book, or just people-watch--and there's almost always something going on. When the weather is pleasant (which is almost always is) they will open up the glass doors and you can enjoy the breeze on the terrace. The fitness center, pool, and spa are located on the top floor, and provide commanding views of a good portion of the valley. You can see the mountains and enjoy the skyline while (if you're anything like me, and live at sea level) huffing and puffing your way through a workout. One minor point worth noting; I enjoyed my room and the view it offered of the Diana Fountain, as well as a glimpse of the Angel of Independence, but be aware that hotel rooms facing the roundabout by the fountain will experience more late-night traffic noise than the other side of the hotel. I can't say it ruined any nights of sleep, but I did wake up a few times to loud horns, revving engines, and any other of the sounds of a busy city. I would love to return and stay here again.

From start to finish, this was sone of the best hotel stays we have ever had as a family. We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and our son’s birthday and the staff made it one of the most memorable experiences we could have had. Given the care and hospitality of the team, I have no doubt we would have received the same treatment if we’d been there on a random weekend getaway and not celebrating something special. The breakfast was out of the world and the room was so comfortable we never wanted to leave. But outside your door are so many sights and great restaurants that you feel compelled to actually get out of your robe and put on real clothes every once in a while. Thanks for an amazing stay! We will be back!

I absolutely loved my stay at the St. Regis Mexico City. The butlers were amazing — courteous, prompt, and always one step ahead. They even unpacked for me and made sure management knew if I needed anything. The rest of the staff were so kind and helpful. My room was enormous and beautifully done. The hotel’s location was perfect. It was just a short walk to affordably priced restaurants. It was a super experience I’ll remember for a long time.

We were very impressed. Truly what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Good gym. Small, but nice pool. We did the cooking class and tequila tasting and liked them both.
