1 Hotel South Beach

We've stayed here multiple times and it's become our go-to spot in South Beach. The pools are amazing — with multiple pools including the rooftop, there's always a perfect spot to relax. The beach service is fantastic too, always attentive without being intrusive. And the gym is honestly one of the best hotel gyms we've ever used — seriously impressive setup for anyone who takes their workouts seriously while traveling. But what really makes this hotel special is Matt. We always come in on a red-eye, and Matt remembers our routine every single time — he makes sure our room is ready early and always gets us the room type we prefer without us having to ask twice. He checks in on us throughout the stay and is quick to answer any questions we have. At this point we communicate directly with Matt whenever we're planning a trip because he simply gets things done. That kind of consistency and attentiveness is rare, and it makes a huge difference when you're arriving exhausted off a red-eye. Genuinely one of the nicest, most reliable people we've dealt with at any hotel. Loved every part of this trip — the pools, the beach, the gym, and especially the service from Matt. Highly recommend!

The breakfast at Aviv was fantastic. The energy is lively and refined. Zora made the experience perfect. She is one of the best servers we have had anywhere. Definitely ask to sit in her section.

Sandra was amazing. She is 10/10. You do not often find people who go above and beyond to give you the best possible experience. But she does!!!! Do not hesitate to come.

What we loved most about 1 Hotel South Beach was the people. We honestly barely used a sunbed because we ended up spending most of our time at the pool bar, chatting with the team, laughing, having drinks and just enjoying the atmosphere. Everyone was so warm and friendly that after a while you almost felt like you were part of the team yourself. The service was amazing, but it never felt formal or distant. It felt personal. Even when we went for a swim, it was almost funny because when we came back to the bar it felt like they had already missed us. And that was probably my favorite thing about the whole hotel: the smiles. Saulo and Orlando made this stay especially memorable. Everywhere around the pool people greeting you, joking with you, remembering you and genuinely seeming happy that you were there. A beautiful hotel is one thing, but this kind of atmosphere is much harder to create. We had such a good time and left feeling like we had met people rather than simply stayed at a hotel. That is what we will remember most.

After six days at 1 hotel South Beach, our trip is coming to an end — and we are honestly so sad to leave. It somehow feels a little bit like leaving family. Of course, the 1 hotel is a beautiful luxury hotel. The rooms are huge, the pools are gorgeous and everything looks amazing. But what made this stay truly unforgettable for us were the people. There is something so special about coming downstairs in the morning and already seeing someone smiling, waving at you and genuinely being happy to see you. That kind of warmth changes the whole experience and makes a hotel feel like a home away from home. A very special thank you to Saulo and Orlando, who made our days here so much more special. You are a huge part of why we will remember this stay for such a long time. We stayed for six days — I think that’s actually the longest we have ever stayed in a hotel — and I could easily have stayed twice as long. Maybe next time. ❤️ We already can’t wait to come back.
