1 Hotel South Beach

My girlfriends and I had a much needed girls getaway to Miami and 1 Hotel was such a great place to stay.  Even though the rain poured down, we stayed positive with such a warm and friendly staff and environment. Lobby security were so kind helping us dry off from the ferocious wind and rain. They pointed to a lovely fruit bowl that was free for guests. And btw, the oranges were so yummy!. A treat to reset ourselves from a crazy flight to MIA. Our room was very well thought out!  Set the mood for a relaxing and chill weekend.  We had a nice view of the center pool and the rooms around us were quiet.  I’ve stayed at other hotels that the floor was filled with kids running up and down the halls.   Maria and Lita, the housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful because we did need a few extra towels and a bucket of ice. The bar downstairs had great drinks and friendly bartenders.  Jake (or maybe Jack) was great at helping us decide the perfect Friday Miami cocktail to wind down and enjoy the ambiance of the lobby. Saturday, it poured! So we chose the spa and gym. Gym was very large and had free classes. The spa had cool treatments but was already booked for the morning. Bojan’s boxing class was a legit boxing class and just what we needed to hit out our rainy day blues. Andrew’s abs and boot camp class had as laughing and sweating at the same time!  How was that possible?!   The cafe by the gym had AMAZING cauliflower pizza and smoothies!  Get the chocolate and mango one! Giancarlo was so kind and helpful. Sunday, weather couldn’t have been nicer!   There was a quiet lower level pool with a spectacular view for the sunrise.  The pool area had spf 50 and 70 and had a great scent.  Fancy!  The lay out chairs were extra large and I actually could actually read and relax.  Took a dip in that pool before I notice it start to get crowded with families.   We finished with a trip to Brickell for bottomless Brunch,a great tip from the lobby staff, Mikael. Thank you again! Please bring a 1 Hotel to Michigan!

The service was just amazing. As I have many allergies, I have never seen such attention and advice, it was just perfect.

Mikiel, Luis, and Liani were such kind people. It’s rare to find people so nice, warm and welcoming and they’re essentially to the one hotel!
