Your South Beach hotel retreat is inspired by 600-feet of beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Designed for comfort, using reclaimed materials, it is one-of-a-kind, naturally. Thoughtful touches bring nature into your expansive room with reclaimed woods, ocean views, custom hemp-blend mattress by Keetsa and 100% organic cotton sheets. Sometimes, life calls for a retreat. The Retreat Collection at 1 Hotel South Beach offers the opportunity to relax, recharge and reconnect in private oceanfront homes and suites. Swim, sun and recharge on 600 feet of white sand beach at the Beach Club. Relax on a waterside daybed with full-service cabanas at one of two ocean-side swimming pools, or the adult-only 1 Rooftop pool. Food is farm-stand fresh at seven unique dining outlets. Critically-acclaimed chef Tom Colicchio makes his Miami debut with Beachcraft, Tom on Collins, The Sand Box and In Room Dining.

Awesome time and great service. Lily was great! Food and ambience were spectacular. Will definitely be returning on my next trip to Miami. I recommend the sushi rolls which were fresh and especially good. The drinks were probably the best on Miami Beach.

My wife and I stayed at the 1Hotel South Beach this past November and had a lovely experience. The property is beautiful, our room was fantastic. We loved the pools, complementary bikes, and easy access to the bike path. Special shoutout to Alexander Feldmann on the Guest Experience team who went above and beyond to make our first visit to this hotel feel special. He was so welcoming from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay he made sure we had everything we needed. Awesome vacation and we can't wait to return again!

I’ve stayed at several 1 Hotel properties and always appreciated their boutique feel, eco-conscious design, and impeccable service. Unfortunately, 1 Hotel South Beach misses the mark in every meaningful way. From start to finish, the experience felt more like a generic Hilton or Marriott: sterile, crowded, and lacking any of the brand’s signature charm. And yet, it commands a price tag that suggests otherwise. A major letdown was the mishandling of a housekeeping issue. The headboard of the bed was filthy - with hair of various colors and lengths embedded in the fiber of the headboard. See pictures. The staff acknowledged the problem and offered a $300 room rate discount as a gesture, and I was told at checkout that I will receive a refund within 3-5 business days. Reasonable — until I discovered after checkout that the “discount” had been converted into a Food & Beverage credit without my consent. I was originally told I’d receive a refund; it never happened. I sent several emails (Kevin, Sabrina), never heard back. This kind of opaque, last-minute switch is simply unacceptable for a hotel positioning itself at the luxury level. You should do right by your guests. Even the glowing reviews here are questionable. The beachside restaurant encourages every dining guest to scan a QR code, which links directly to the hotel’s page here on TripAdvisor. Honestly, it’s more honest to link to the restaurant page on Google or Yelp, but sadly no. It’s a clever tactic, but misleading, and it inflates the hotel’s rating based on an experience that has little to do with the rooms or service. In the end, it was a fine stay — the pool is pleasant, the location is good, and the restaurant is solid. But if you’re expecting the elevated, serene, boutique-style experience you’d get at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay or even the New York location, prepare to be disappointed. At half the price, there are plenty of places in South Beach that offer the same — or better — without pretending to be something they’re not.

Victor was great, always kind and very delightful and was very helpful with recommendations! He accommodates all of our requests with a smile! Would definitely come back again! The hotpot rice and veggie rolls are a must when trying out this place!
