An uneven and disappointing experience

Im a young professional who decided to enjoy a weekend away with my partner we had a very uneven experience. Great location and great cocktails, but everything else left a lot to be desired. We loved the bar and every drink on the menu was a gem. Otherwise, the restaurant food was uneven with some dishes that were excellent and others that were disappointing. The in-room dining service was laughably bad. Orders would take forever to arrive and were often incorrect. Service also took a long time at the restaurant, with the staff seeming disorganized. The rooms were nice but small for the price. Be warned, the walls are paper-thin and you can hear everything in adjoining rooms. Wellness classes and sessions were completely sold out for the weekend upon arrival. Accommodations were promised for the dog but were not ready when we arrived. Normally we wouldn’t be this picky, but for a five star hotel, you’d expect much better. This didn’t seem like a place that cares about the details or going above and beyond.

We had a great stay at Andaz South Beach and will definitely return. The service was excellent from start to finish and truly felt like a priority throughout the property. The room was on the smaller side, but it had a lovely view and was very comfortable overall. We especially enjoyed lunch by the pool, and the pool area itself was relaxing and well maintained. Chairs were easy to get until around 11am, when things started to fill up. The valet team was friendly and impressively quick every time we needed the car. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the drinks at the bar were excellent as well. Overall, it was a really enjoyable stay with great hospitality all around. We will definitely be back!

We had the absolute best Mother’s Day experience! Everything was perfect from start to finish, and the service truly made the day extra special. Daniel, David and Oliver were all amazing. So attentive, friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to come back!
