This hotel is a dump! Had to wait 20 mins or more for the valet. Because the room wasn't ready we went to the pool bar to have a drink and lunch. Had a Mojito and unfortunately found the only place in Miami that doesn't know how to make a mojito. Just threw the mint leaves in with one lime and one lemon, no muddling. Ordered a Greek salad. The blandest Greek salad I ever had. Tomatoes looked like they were picked off the vine a month early and delivered to Publix. Full of sliced green and red peppers and not one Kalamata olive to be found and no taste to the salad at all. Went to the lobby bar and had a great drink served by a great bartender. Ordered some ceviche which also had no taste. Finally able to get in our room. Reserved a King Suite, walked in the room and the floor was flooded. Also not one electrical outlet near the bed. Talked to the manager, after 20 mins able to get us a different room. Went to the new room, was the exact same set up without the wet floor and still no outlets next to the bed! I forgot the best part...upon serving the Greek Salad the bartender told me..."and the chef and the owners are Greek". Believe me, there is no Greek that would admit to putting their name on that salad. Definitely not consistent with the Kimpton brand.

Beware stayed at this hotel 7th August on arrival we was asked for a 200 Dollar holding fee , which we were told we would get 200 dollars back 5 days later this arrived and a further 78 dollars was taken, we never bought anything from this hotel we ate out and Drank out we were room only .. Avoid or be very careful Be vigilant over this holding fee the Mina was the gentleman on reception on arrival that promised the refund. Personally don't leave a deposit
