The Betsy - South Beach

I stayed at The Betsy for a few days in May. The location is great—right on 14th Street, directly across from the beach. They have sun beds available for guests which made beach days easy. The staff was very friendly across the board. The bar is a standout—chic, relaxed, and perfect for happy hour. Carmen, the bartender, was especially warm and welcoming—she really made a difference and added to the vibe. My room was comfortable. It didn’t have a view since it faced the street, but that’s what I booked, so no complaints there. Looking forward to going back.

The hotel is fabulous and the location is great. The room was mega compact and there was only enough space for one open suitcase and that made things tricky. We did not have any view whatsoever. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good. We had breakfast here on the veranda but the choice was limited but it had nice views of S Beach. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

The most amazing boutique I’ve stayed at comparable to the Stephanie Inn in Cannon Beach, Oregon which often ranks in the top 5 best romantic retreats in the US. Every single employee is beyond generous, thoughtful and accommodating. Nordstrom level customer care. We were greeted with champagne, had hours to kill with a 6 year old and spent the most enjoyable afternoon at the roof top pool. Bartender and his mate topped our champagne, provided complimentary smoothies to the kids, kept the house snacks flowing and recommended a great place for dinner- Ceviche 105! Our concierge by text responded immediately and checked in regularly to ensure we were taken care. Every staff member took time to show us how to find our way through the hotel. Neil was fabulous teaching roof top yoga, the beach chairs, towels and beach staff were also amazing, the ice cream, music, and parlor games kept us entertained!! Our suite, which was comfortable for 5 of us including two 18 year olds was clean and spacious. The attention to detail, location and staff are beyond measure. We will be back and you should join us!! ❤️

Our family stay was great. It was only one day but we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and service. Fritzner at the front desk helped check us out and ensure our stay ended on the highest note possible.

What an incredible hotel! Comfortable, classy. etc. The employees genuinely care about their guests across all departments making sure every request and need was met (thank you Evans, Felix. Hendrick, Paul and Amy!). I stayed in a Royal Ocean Room and it was spacious and cozy. So many special little touches that made it feel like home. I had dinner outside in front of the hotel Thursday night and it was fantastic. Service was stellar and food delicious. Art and culture are vibrant throughout all areas of the hotel and worth taking a few minutes out of your day to explore and appreciate. There is not another hotel of this caliber on Ocean Drive where you literally walk out of the front doors and into the park/beach area. Clean, wel landscaped, and beautifully maintained. i cannot wait to come back, especially to snuggle Betsy, Rosa, and Daisy; the hotel CEOs (Canine Executive Officers). Thank you for making this trip so memorable!
