There are no two Miami Beach hotels more iconic than Eden Roc Miami Beach and the neighboring Fontainebleau, which were once the playground of Hollywood royalty. After undergoing a $240 million renovation in 2009, Eden Roc is a cool, contemporary destination for guests seeking a quieter atmosphere than South Beach, which is a 15-minute drive away. Spacious rooms – some of the largest in Miami – glimpse at the Atlantic Ocean and the Biscayne Bay Waterway, and three infinity pools make for tranquil afternoons in the sun.

Gwendoline was the best. She made our experience here truly exceptional. Her services were top-notch. When it came to room services, she ensured that everything was just right for my mom and me. She always had kind words to say.

I stayed at Eden Roc with high expectations given the price point, and unfortunately, the experience fell well short. My room (1941) was not well-maintained or clean. The grout and moldings were visibly dirty and appeared not to have been cleaned in a long time, and the shower threshold was rotting. This is simply unacceptable for a hotel charging these rates. The beach setup was also disappointing. The chairs are old, uncomfortable, and chipped, plus you can't just seat yourself. You have to wait in line and then use one of the beach workers to put your towels out (a tip is expected). Food service on the beach wasn't great. Our food consistently arrived cold. And the breakfast buffet at Nobu was mediocre at best. Nothing appeared to be homemade, more like stale pastries from the supermarket. What stood out most was the constant sense of nickel-and-diming. Beach chairs and towels are included, but umbrellas are an extra charge. Wi-Fi is included, but reliable Wi-Fi requires an upgrade. At this price point, these should be standard amenities. The $45 daily resort fee is particularly frustrating, as it supposedly covers things like access to the pools and fitness center, which are basic hotel facilities that should not be considered add-ons.

I loved my stay here. From the moment I checked in at the front desk to the minute I left the staff and services were impeccable. I have stayed at countless hotels throughout the world and this is among the my favorites. I would highly recommend to anyone reading this. My favorite hotel in Miami.

BEWARE absolute scam so sad they took one new video and made it explode and look good. We arrived and left. It was horrific. Then we booked our rooms and we were given rooms that looked at a wall when we asked to change it when we were told if you book a resort, view you will look at a wall I asked is there any other resort view rooms available and I was told no the staff member called Roberto told me if I wanted to leave a bad review. “I could “my response was wow I am a business owner in the UK and if my staff told my customers it’s okay to leave a bad review I’ll be furious. His responce was I’m not interested 😱They absolutely don’t care shocking please be aware guys just Book upgraded rooms if you can to not feel like us

Here is a polished public review version—clear, credible, and firm, without sounding emotional or exaggerated. This works well for Google, TripAdvisor, or Yelp. ⸻ I booked my stay at Eden Roc two months in advance to celebrate my 60th birthday. While the property is beautiful, the service was deeply disappointing and far below what one expects from a luxury hotel at this price point. I am very familiar with high-end hospitality, having stayed at properties such as the Mandarin Oriental, Ritz-Carlton, Delano, and Loews. Unfortunately, Eden Roc was the worst luxury hotel experience I have had. There were a few bright spots—the bellman, Noe, was exceptional and truly accommodating, and the front desk receptionist was kind and professional. However, these positives were overshadowed by consistent service failures throughout my stay. Housekeeping was poor, nighttime staff was unprofessional, and the spa experience was unacceptable for what I paid. I had a 10:00 a.m. spa appointment and was instructed to arrive early, only to find the spa closed. It did not open until about 20 minutes later, and I was escorted through the back, which set a very negative tone from the start. Dinner at Nobu offered excellent food, but the service was shockingly slow. My dinner lasted three hours and forty minutes. The waitress took over 20 minutes to take my order, got my appetizer wrong, and service remained inefficient throughout the meal. Back in my room, I requested champagne glasses. After six phone calls, a personal trip downstairs, and one hour and fifteen minutes later, they finally arrived. I also requested additional bubble bath for another bath, which never came. For a hotel that markets itself as luxury, this level of service is unacceptable. I reached out to management to express my concerns and never received a response. This was meant to be a milestone celebration, and instead it was overshadowed by poor service. I would not return.
