Reviews for Faena Hotel Miami Beach

The girls managing the table reservations (for the Restaurant) were very unprofessional

The service in the restaurant was excellent! However, the girls at the entrance should be fired; their behavior was appalling and the service was terrible

The Iconic Faena

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Absolutely love love love the Iconic Faena! It is my favorite getaway. You know it’s especially good when there’s no turnover with staff (I have met some of the best humans in world). Faena’s service is impeccable - nowhere beats Faena’s sincere care of their guests and attention to even the most minute details! Must provide a thank you to Tyler for always checking in before I check-in and greeting me when I arrive! I feel so safe when I take solo trips there. Also I’d like to note the privacy they provide, that other hotels in Miami do not, I’ve seen celebrities there with no commotion/paps, and you can tell they come often bc they know the staff (give hugs, long talks, etc) and again, no rif rafs following them/coming in/commotion. Privacy and security is top tier! Faena is so iconic that you never have to leave: First of - their magical theater! Little pro tip, Andra is the lady to go to! She is absolutely wonderful and oh so sweet! She always sets me up nicely with the best seats and makes sure my experience is top notch, for example a glass of champagne is always waiting for me at my seat! If I lived in Miami I’d be going every chance I could especially when a new show comes to life!! Regardless if you have been to a specific show, no show is ever the same! They are so much fun and brilliantly executed!! Truly interactive, the audience is engaged and gets to be part of the fun. The dancing, music, lights, and the *storytelling* of each show - AMAZING! Cannot wait to see what they come up with next now that Carmen as come to an end! If you’re staying at the hotel and you don’t book a night at the theater, you’re doing it ALL wrong and missing out on the art and fun that is Faena… Even if you’re not staying at the hotel or you live in Miami, it’s a MUST! Fun for all occasions, I’ve seen date nights to office outings to family gatherings! Second - their food, cocktails and service. They have several restaurants and lounges and even a club! Los Fuegos is my personal favorite and they have live music every night, ranging from the smooth crooning of the likes of Frank Sinatra to the Gypsy Kings - adds to the ambiance and delectable meal. Again cannot stress how amazing the service is everywhere! All the restaurants are the best you’ve ever gone to. You’re getting Michelin level food while sunbathing at the beach! You cannot go wrong at any of their restaurants. Big shout out to Jean and Jordan for their top tier hospitality and skills! Third - shopping and spa. They have their own small hand picked boutique at the spa area that has the most amazing, one of a kind pieces from all over the world. They also have the Faena Bazaar across the street with a store on each level, with the best of the best! Everything you could want to shop for is available. Need a new bikini? Check. Need a new evening dress? Perfume? Louboutins? Check. Check. Check. Fourth - everything else they provide that I’m missing. Faena is Iconic for a reason. Alan Faena is a true creative genius connecting arts with hospitality! Read the book in your room about him and the start of Faena! It’s a beautiful story that explains the enchantment of Faena!

Beautiful Hotel With a Great Atmosphere

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

My wife and I spent a week at the Faena Hotel Miami Beach for our honeymoon, and it’s a stay we still think about fondly. We arrived on a quiet, balmy evening and were immediately assisted at the front desk. We secured a spacious Bay View Room with a king-sized bed facing Collins Avenue. While an ocean-facing room would have been ideal, we were genuinely delighted with what we had. The room felt spacious, tasteful, and peaceful, a perfect place to unwind after long days in the sun. Thoughtful details stood out, including the teal-tiled shower with bench seating and the Lavazza coffee, a small but appreciated European touch. We also enjoyed the Alan Faena Rizzoli book, which added context to the hotel’s aesthetic and made the design feel intentional. What truly sets the hotel apart is its atmosphere. It’s bold, glamorous, and flamboyant, yet curated and confident rather than excessive. Latin American influences, particularly from Buenos Aires, blend beautifully with European touches and a theatrical flair that feels unmistakably Miami Beach. Alan Faena’s creative vision is evident throughout the property. Dining at Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann was a highlight. We ate there often and never tired of it. Standout dishes included the filet empanadas, Tiger Prawns Salad with grilled shrimp and grapefruit, the burger, and the lobster roll. Seeing Alan Faena himself dining on-site reinforced the hotel's sense of being genuinely lived in and cared for by its creator. We also enjoyed drinks at The Living Room, which balances South Beach glamour with a relaxed, inviting vibe. The DJ was excellent, and hearing “As” by Stevie Wonder became a special memory tied to our stay. The beach experience was equally impressive. Service was attentive, including the memorable touch of having cold water poured over our feet as we settled in. Food and drink service on the beach was efficient, and quality remained consistently high. Evenings were delightful. We often relaxed outdoors near the Tree of Life or enjoyed the warm Miami air. The landscaping creates an atmosphere reminiscent of a refined Argentine retreat. One minor critique is that the pool felt a bit small and slightly dated, though it was well-maintained and didn’t detract from the overall experience. The location is excellent. We enjoyed walking along the beachfront path and easily reached restaurants like Joe’s Stone Crab, Casa Tua, Cecconi’s, and Lucali, as well as exploring Wynwood by Uber. This level of luxury is usually beyond our reach, so we’re grateful to have experienced it and would love to return someday.

Retro

RETRO exceeded my expectations. The choreography, live vocals, and band were outstanding, and every member brought so much energy. The Faena theater is a stunning venue and made the night feel extra especial. We also had some appetizers and drinks while watching the performance and it was delicious 😋. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Miami Beach.
