Amazing Anniversary Stay!
We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at the Loews and had an incredible stay! We've been to south beach many times but this was the first time staying at the Loews and it blew us away!! A HUGE thank you to Kedi who truly made the stay so memorable. She made sure we had a great room with an ocean view and sent us a lovely anniversary gift. She was so kind and helpful, the service is truly unmatched here (and I typically don't write hotel reviews but I really felt that the staff needed to be appreciated!). The rooms were spacious and clean - housekeeping did a wonderful job cleaning every day. Loews is in the perfect location right in the heart of south beach - we could walk literally everywhere to get food, drinks and go out at night. Your also right on the beach and the pool is massive! We went memorial day weekend and while it was crowded we were still able to secure chairs by the pool. We also loved going to bistro collins for a drink before or after dinner - the bartenders were great and the drinks were awesome! Highly recommend this hotel if you want to have a memorable vacation and thank you so much again Kedi for your hospitality!

Nice property but crowded / unsafe beach experience and useless resort fee
Nice property, rooms, and location but I would not return for the following reasons: 1) beach chairs are too close together and have no view of the ocean because it is blocked by cabanas placed in front row 2) there is not hotel security at the beach - I spotted a guy that sat and started recording a sleeping guest - had to go tell him to leave myself 3) resort fee of $50 daily includes beach chairs but not umbrellas that are $30 . It also includes “welcome beverage at Bistro Collins” but when I asked what kind of beverage it was, I was told either tequila or fruit punch … both my wife and I hate tequila and don’t drink sugary beverages , so no beverage for us
