I would like to share our honest feedback about this stay. The refusal of a one-hour late check-out was disappointing. Given the tower we stayed in and our history as returning guests, the request was reasonable and would not have created a significant operational difficulty. The situation did not reflect the flexibility and guest consideration we normally associate with a hotel of this standard. More importantly, our dinner experience at the restaurant was uncomfortable. While we were still dining, immediately after our soup and sushi were served, the bill was placed on our table without us requesting it. This gave the impression that we were being rushed and, frankly, treated as if payment was a concern. As frequent guests, this was unexpected and unpleasant. We choose where we stay primarily based on service and how welcomed we feel. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet those expectations and has caused us to reconsider staying at the property in the future.

We stopped at the Loews Miami Beach pool bar expecting quality craft cocktails. Before ordering, I specifically asked the bartender if drinks were measured rather than free-poured. He assured me they were. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t reflect that standard. My mezcal margarita was overly sweet and tasted mix-based rather than fresh. My wife ordered a vodka cocktail described as having muddled cucumber — it arrived with large chunks instead. Two drinks totaled $49 (including built-in gratuity), and we left after finishing only a small portion. Management did speak with us and offered prosecco, which we declined. Still, at this price point, we expect careful preparation and accuracy to the menu.

Good service from f&b team. Many of pool attendants were helpful and friendly. Beach attendant were good also with exception of one. It was so obvious that he didn’t want to be there. If you’re gone more than 30 minutes from your chair by the pool or the beach, it will be cleared. They’re very efficient in that aspect. Property is clean with pool area packed closely.

Currently staying at Loews in mid Feb. Don’t waste your money. Shop around there is better hotels in Miami Beach. You better wake up early if you would like a chair by the pool. By 8am all the seats were taken. Don’t assume you can reserve a chair and go have breakfast (even in the resort) or go for a walk on the beach. When you come back after an hour your belongings will be taken away and chairs given to the next person. There is not enough seats for the amount of guests the hotel can hold. So you are chained to your chairs all day. Yes, Location is great and rooms are decent but not worth the prison like feel when your spending this kind of money.

We love the South beach area but will not return to Loews. Loews advertises being a kid friendly property, but this was not true and a huge disappointment. The arcade is closed permanently. They advertise kids movie night but no one could tell us which movie it would be. It ended up being a very strange old movie about death. They had one person running the popcorn machine and it ran out every few minutes. They had not set up proper seating for the movie and it was clearly an afterthought. They had only a few games per day at the pool and had the face painter only one day (with a long line). They do not have water stations to fill the kids’ water bottles. They do not have a lifeguard and it is nearly impossible to get a pool chair near the pool, so you are unable to relax and still see your child. At one point I saw security and a parent frantically searching for a lost child at the pool. Pool service is extremely slow, and I felt ignored the majority of the time (a woman alone). Beach food and drink service was even slower, 30 minutes for just a drink. Also no water stations on the beach to fill your bottles. No toys for kids on the beach. We did the “free” photo session, then the photography company tried to get us to meet with them for 30 minutes the next day to look at the photos. No pizza making class for the kids while we were there (as they advertise). Preston’s is great for breakfast. Our server Pablo was fantastic. Just about the only highlight of our trip to Loews.
