I have checked in the hotel on 12th November untill 15th November, for work purpose , I am from India and I am a world traveler, I have been around the world , and been stayed with so many different hotel brands , I stayed there without any options as it was booked by my company, when I checked it even though my room was paid , and I had paid the extra tax there scamming, without any clarification or invoice for the taxes , still I couldn't get into my room for 3 hours , coz they don't accept the cash as a deposit. The room was very old and bad odore , after 3 hours waiting when I checked it, shower wasn't working neither the hot water , I had to change room , after all night long people were fighting and screaming, like a horror movie after informing the reception several time . Not to forget I stayed in hotel by paying extra 35 usd per night forcefully, after paid 100 USD per night as a room rent .i have to walk to a different hotel every single morning to have a coffee , which I paid for . After checked out I have been requesting my invoice which I had paid for , no response yet . I'm 35 and been so many countries with different hotels and Airbnb this is one of the worse hotel in my whole life .

Exceptional Service – Highly Recommended I am a regular guest at Loews Miami Beach Hotel, and the service is always outstanding. The staff is friendly, professional, and truly attentive. A special thank you to Mr. Stenly Jeannot from the Security Team. We accidentally left a Louis Vuitton item at the hotel, and thanks to his honesty and efficiency, it was quickly found and shipped back to us at no cost. This level of service is exceptional and greatly appreciated. I will definitely continue to stay at Loews Miami Beach and highly recommend this hotel.

I booked my stay through the AmEx FHR/ Premium Collection. Despite broad availability of room types on their booking site, we did not get any meaningful upgrade. A same-size room facing a different direction is not an upgrade in my book. Then came the late checkout saga: we had to haggle for a 4 PM checkout, even though the property was nowhere near sold out. The front desk manager, Batiste, who first claimed that our room wasn’t available past noon and that we had to check out. I pushed back citing their own website showing wide availability for the same room type. I insisted to be allowed to stay until 4 PM, pointing out that the “urgency” to prepare our exact room was manufactured, Batiste’s next brilliant move was to instruct a staffer to charge me $560 for a late checkout. Yes over half a grand for four extra hours. So, I had to explain — again and slowly — that the whole point of being part of Amex FHR / Premium Collection is exposure/consideration. These properties are discovered and get business they otherwise wouldn’t. in return, they’re supposed to try their best to deliver an elevated experience, including small courtesies like better accommodations or late checkout when rooms are available. Our coin operated bottom line protecting hero clearly missed that section in the training manual. Batiste then backpedaled, saying he’d “see if there’s any possibility” to accommodate us, maybe move us to another room until 4 PM. I agreed. A short while later, surprise! We were told we could stay in our same room until 4 PM after all. Why the hell did we have to go through all that agony and performative nonsense if that was the outcome available from the start? The pool was cold, littered with debris and oily sunscreen residue around the edges. In three days, not once did I see anyone attempt to clean it. The prearranged kids’ activities were a nice touch but all far too dull for older kids. Breakfast was included, but apparently that didn’t stop the hotel from trying out new billing strategies. Every morning, we’d get a fully loaded breakfast check with rack rate, taxes, and an automatic 20% gratuity, even though it was a self-serve buffet. When confronted, staff would say it was “just for the record” and would get adjusted later. Sure — the food charge would vanish, but the taxes and made-up gratuity stuck around. Each day, we had to remind the breakfast entrepreneurs to zero out the bill and let us decide on gratuity. Overall, the property is constantly reaching into your pocket, and it gets exhausting. Staying at Loews was a crappy experience from start to finish, and I’ll never come back.
