Did not have the best experience due to staff behavior. We stayed at the Loews hotel in South Beach and decided to spend some time away from the pool area we opted to rent one of the day bed. Granted it was already 2 pm, that we decided we to get the bed, the staff ensured us since it’s so late that we would be able to enjoy it beyond the close time. We parasailed and we asked our waiter to place food order close to us returning from parasailing. Upon our return, the food was ordered and it took about 30 minutes to deliver, which was close to 5:45 pm. At 6:00 the staff began to inform us that they were closing and they needed to break down the bed. We informed that we were promised that we would not be rushed and the staff would attend to other activities and come back. 2 min later another staffer came back and said they needed to clear the bed. I asked for a manager because we were not getting what was promised when we rented the bed. Taylor the Manager came over and was immediately dismissive to me and my guest. He told us they were closing and we needed to immediately vacate the space. His crew needed to leave and we needed to give up the bed. The crew began to break down the bed, while we were still eating our lunch. This was at 6:15. This was very disturbing to me and my guest as we did not get what we paid for. Next day, I just happen meet the area supervisor and Edwin, operation manager. I voiced my concern, they were very concerned. They gave us a bed for the day and was very concerned about my encounter the day before. He mentioned there will be additional training of the staff and apologized for the unprofessional behavior.

We had a wonderful stay. The reception staff was warm, professional, and welcoming. The rooms were excellent, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Service was prompt and efficient throughout our stay. The pool and amenities were very good and added to the overall experience. The concierge team was extremely helpful, and all staff members were courteous and attentive. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a highly enjoyable and comfortable stay.

First, I have to say some of the staff at this hotel are really excellent. Luis, Angela, Diego, and Ekaterina were all kind and especially helpful and welcoming to my family. Luis and Angela in particular made breakfast wonderful and gave us a great start to each of our days. My toddler even said breakfast was her favorite part of our vacation. Second, the pool is great, and during the week there are plenty of convenient places to sit, and sometimes the staff can be helpful with setting up chairs. Yesterday however, at least one staff member observed me trying to set up the huge umbrella for my toddler (i am a short mom) and seemed to somewhat be amused by my struggle. I don’t blame it - it probably was amusing to witness. Third, the kids club (Sobe Kids) looks great. Unfortunately, I saw it advertised online as a place for kids to play when it’s hot outside. That is definitely not the case. You cannot take your kids to play there unless you’re willing to leave them there, sort of like a daycare. This definitely disappointed my daughter, but I heard it’s priced reasonable if you want to leave your kids there for the day or afternoon. Fourth, the food is excellent. We loved everything we had, including at Bar Collins. Lastly, but importantly, if you are booking this hotel because you want to be on a beachfront property, you’re definitely going to be disappointed. The seaweed - which constitutes all the dark spots in my photo - it’s so far out into the ocean that I think you would have to swim for 10 minutes to get beyond it. It was my daughter’s first time at the beach and she was really grossed out by it. Early in the day, you will see some teen teenagers and young adults, brave the seaweed to go into the ocean, but that was disappointing, considering we mostly booked this hotel to be near the beach and then as a consequence of the seaweed, we barely spent ten minutes there. It’s definitely not the hotel’s fault, but it is something to be aware of if you’re coming here to swim in the ocean. Luckily, the pool is lovely.

We had a great stay. What really stood out was the gentleman treatment from front desk staff, valet staff, and the amazing service by Taylor, Eric and Neamiah at the beach. Taylor was great!
