Loews Miami Beach Hotel

Be very careful if you stay at this hotel and accidentally leave something behind in your room, because you may never see it again. We stayed for four days and three nights and spent over $3,000 during our stay. On the day of checkout, which was at 11:00 a.m., we left the room around 10:00 a.m. As we were leaving, a Hispanic woman asked if we were checking out. We told her yes, and she said she would then be able to clean the room. She also asked if we were coming back, and we told her no. We live in Orlando, while my entire family lives in Miami, so we had traveled there to visit family and decided to stay at the hotel. About five hours after leaving, when I got home, I realized that I had accidentally left a brand-new pair of Tory Burch sandals, still in the box. They were brown and worth approximately $300. I called the hotel twice and was told that they would check the room and call me back by the end of the day. Nobody ever called me back. The third time I called, I made the call as if I wanted to make a reservation, and someone answered immediately. I was then transferred to another department, where they said they would check. After checking, they told me they had not found any shoes or sandals. What is extremely frustrating is that these were brand-new sandals, still in their box, and they were left in the room after we checked out. I understand that mistakes happen, but I expected a much higher level of honesty, customer service, and accountability from a luxury hotel—especially after spending more than $3,000 during our stay. No one ever properly followed up with me, and I was simply told that the sandals were not found. My advice: if you stay at this hotel, check your room very carefully before leaving and make sure you take everything with you. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

An amazing hotel in the heart of Miami Beach. Loewe is beautiful, comfortable, right on the beach, with super friendly staff, a wonderful ocean view, great pools and a bar. The hotel restaurant was open when we arrived, and we went for dinner without any plans. The food was delicious, they were super fast and attentive. The whole experience at the hotel was incredible. I highly recommend it.
