I recently attended a Travel Related Conference and the placed me at this property, which I was expecting a great experience. As Meeting Planner, I travel extensively, and I share and recommend hotels and venues to my customers. Unfortunately, my experience as a total disappointment as this hotel was in the midst of a major Rooms Renovations, and the Jackhammering at 7:30am until 6pm was unbearable, as you could not even have a phone conversation, never mind working! This Hotel was greedy, and chose to make revenue during this time, when they should have never housed any attendees, and by the same matter any guests. When I tried to request a change of rooms form y 5th Floor to higher floors, they only indicated they were full! I will never recommend this hotel to my customers, because if they did this to Travel/ Meeting Planners, I can only think they would do to my clients, I blame the hotel and the conference organizer if the organizer indeed was aware of this. I hope your poor decision of choosing to get revenue over the service satisfaction of your guests will backfire, and lose potential business from pretty pissed off Travel Planners and decision makers! No doubt this was your biggest mistake with this audience!! Never again!

I was able to get a little beach in before the rain today and had a great experience thanks to Erick. Very charming and helpful.

My family had an amazing time at the hotel. Everyone was so warm and welcoming from start to finish! My son went to the Sobe Kids Club as well and had really awesome time- the staff was so great interacting with him and making him feel comfortable. Upon coming home I had realized I left some items in our room. Stenly from security made the process getting my things back so easy. He was very kind, proactive and made sure he followed up with tracking. I am very appreciative! We will definitely be back soon!

First, I'll preface my review with I booked using my Amex Platinum card on the Amex travel website, as this hotel is part of their hotel collection. Benefits included the following: - 12pm check-in, when available - Room upgrade at check-in, when available (next level up) - $100 Credit A complimentary credit valued at $100 to use towards eligible charges, such as food and beverage, spa, or other on-property charges (must charge to the room) - Late check-out, when available - Complimentary breakfast for two people each day of your stay (buffet only at Prestons) - 2 free cocktails at the hotel bar I wanted an ocean view with balcony, so I booked the level below that which was the partial ocean view with no balcony. I was upgraded to the balcony room (11th floor) and to my luck, it was a renovated floor and the room was renovated (they are redoing all the rooms apparently. Room was spacious and modern unlike most hotels in South Beach, balcony was big, bathroom was crystal clean and big enough for two people. Only complaint about the room was the towels are hard and there is no microwave. You can rent one for your stay though for I believe $25, not per day. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Service as soon as I checked in was superb. Received 2 room keys and they do mobile keys with your phone through their app, but that wasn't working for me. Breakfast every morning at Preston's for two was by far some of the best breakfast for buffet style. They have an omelette station with an assortment of other items like pancakes, french toast, bacon, they'll cook you turkey sausage if that's your thing upon request - I couldn't have asked for more. The service, fantastic! Pool area is huge with tons of lounge chairs and umbrellas and a big pool. Service was excellent! Servers kept the drinks or food coming. Drinks are little watered down so be aware of that if you're looking for something stronger. Drinks aren't cheap and run on the expensive side, but I made sure to use my $100 resort credit to lessen the blow. Beach area I received two lounge chairs complimentary as part of the resort fee of $44/day. This does not come with an umbrella which is an extra cost. I believe it was $20-$25 dollars. Service on the beach again, excellent. They will bring you food or drinks on the beach. Overall, the theme of my stay was - EXCELLENT SERVICE! Everyone was so nice and accommodating and trying to make my stay perfect. I will honestly probably never stay anywhere else if it's not sold out when I want to come. I couldn't have asked for a better hotel. The location is perfect too - equidistance to pretty much either direction you'd like to walk or if you want to drive to Biscayne Bay. *Tip - they have umbrellas to use if it's raining, they have a text to type service where you can text them something and they'll respond extremely fast - I highly recommend using it.

Though our check in process was not pleasant, Bobby and Alexander made our beach experience amazing! Very attentive and answered all our questions regarding the food and local options.
