My story can be made complete with just two photos. I got a room that was labeled to Pool bungalow with a pool view. Unfortunately, I was thrown to the corner of the hotel with no pool or body of water insight. I live in Miami and often do staycations on the beach. After arriving with my family, I decided to make the best as we were only staying one night. As I was checking out, I mentioned my dissatisfaction with the room and was merely ignored. It almost seemed like the associate from the hotel was embarrassed. I made a call and spoke with the site manager a couple days later to discuss this. He in fact knew of this room and it seemed to be an infamous room. He said the best thing he could do for me is give me an upgrade during a future stay. But I’m not sure I wanna book another thousand dollar room in the hopes that they“ make it right.” I gave the manager time to get this figured out and I recently reached back out and said I felt like their proposal was just not enough. I feel very duped and conned, which is nothing new in the city I call home. The manager who I will not name talked to me like he felt like he was some sort of mafia boss. The bottom line is the pictures will tell the story. This is summer in Miami. There was plenty of rooms , plenty of options and because I was traveling with a two-year-old, I’m guessing they shoved me in a corner. Unacceptable. Happily will stay at the Faena which is a classier place anyway. Not to mention the room I stayed in had a chair outside of it that seemed to be some sort of place where workers would sit and take breaks or possibly security, but it was just outside of our room. Honestly, the hotel is fine. It smells good, but if you’re traveling with family, I would avoid it as it has the dusty Matador room as its fine dining establishment. Ice-skating rink bowling alley all that’s cool, but really more geared towards nightlife. I give it two stars because the multiple pools and beach access are quite nice. Oh, and I forgot the room that I was in was just above a service entry space so all I had a view of was workers coming in and out. That room is miserable and should never be labeled as a pool bungalow what a joke. All they needed to do was offer me something for the inconvenience, but in typical Miami fashion they thought I’d forget and turn their cheeks. Trust me on Faena, One Hotel, setai are leaps better.

I highly recommend that you call the hotel a couple days before your stay and see if the ocean is free of “red tide” We recently stayed at The Edition, August 6, 2025, and was not able to get in the ocean. Severe odor and dense stagnant red algae. We drove to Ft. Lauderdale every day to get in the ocean. Hotel stay was wonderful but the fact we couldn’t enjoy the beach was a huge disappointment.

The Miami Edition is, in my humble opinion, an absolute Quadruple Threat! Why? Accommodations were luxurious: bed and pillows, sumptuous. Spa and gym facilities hit the mark: the massage was transcendent and the weights and machines top notch. Dining was Michelin star quality: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, everything one would expect from Jean-Georges restaurants. And finally, David, the manager of The Matador, going above and beyond to make my tiny bachelorette party memorable and sweet. He very well might just be the star of the show! Go for the accommodations; enjoy the health and wellness opportunities; indulge in the finest of foods, but stay for DAVID!

I got a bill from this hotel in June 2025. But me and my partner never booked or stayed here. It may very well be a nice hotel. But they should better validate the credit cards on checking and checkout, before billing. around 2200us$ was tried to be billed to my credit card Credit nota will be filled by credit card company.

The beach access is amazing, how clean the property is as well, at the beach the Cabanas are great, we had Luis help us, he went above and beyond and made it an experience for us.
