From the moment I reached out, I knew I could trust Charlotte at the Mondrian South Beach Concierge to deliver excellence. My husband had worked with her previously to arrange a beautiful graduation setup for me back in May, so when I needed a last-minute room celebration for my son’s college graduation, she was my first call. With incredible attention to detail, Charlotte coordinated everything perfectly — a stunning balloon bouquet, gourmet chocolate chip cookies, and a chilled bottle of French rosé that greeted my son on day one. She even planned a second-day surprise, complete with decadent chocolate-covered strawberries. Charlotte’s professionalism, efficiency, and genuine warmth turned a rushed request into a truly memorable celebration. Luis was amazing. He welcomed us at the hotel with great energy and gave us great recommendations on places to visit! The service at the Mondrian is incredible, the pool is fantastic, and the view from the restaurant is amazing. I will definitely be back soon. It was a great experience!

You want the good or the bad first...ok the good. It has large rooms and the pool is lush. Now the bad...it's a party hotel. So if you are in your 20s, single and like to hang out by the pool all weekend then great. This is the hotel for you. As a result expect to be woken up from 2-4am on the weekends with people shouting, partying and slamming doors. I did email and talk to the staff at reception but did not get any response. It isn't great not being able to sleep for the first 3 days of your holiday. Secondly the bigger issue is housekeeping . Towels and bins are not emptied daily. We stayed 12 nights and had to empty our own bins most days and badger reception (who are mostly on their phones or chatting) to get our bedding changed after a week. And nothing. I was very upset and spoke to the manager he got the room cleaned leaving us to wait in the valet area for 20 minutes. Poor very poor. I found itdisappointing that they didn't keep the assurances from then onwards to clean the room. House keeping again didn't appear for another 3 days so I had to chase. Honestly never experienced this before. Felt like I was stayed in a dump with people just leaving their trash and take aways in the hallway. Ruined our holiday. No one even bothered to ask us if we enjoyed our stay when we checked out. All really a bit sad and I wish it hadn't been like that. I love Miami but this hotel is a big miss. I am sure I will now receive a proforma response from the hotel that they didn't get the email, apologising about the housekeeping blah blah. But I get one holiday a year. And it was ruined by the dirty /noisy conditions that the hotel seem to fina acceptable. I don't.
