The Setai, Miami Beach

Murad at the Valmont spa was the best masseuse I have ever had the pleasure to work with. His skill set is far beyond that of a normal masseuse. Thank you for your service.

We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at the Setai and we had a great Ocean beautiful Suite. The welcoming staff at check in kind and professional, so the concierge , at the swimming pool, beach and restaurants . Japon is highly reccomended for quality of food and service. I experienced also a complimentary yoga lesson offered over the weekend, the teacher was amazing. Only two things I would suggest to the management to think about : a beach leading Hotel of the world usually offers bag for the beach not to purchase , at least for the top suites guests who travel from all over and they don’t think to have a beach bag with them. I would change the pillows of the couches at the restaurant, too many stains …. Overall we had a terrific experience and it will be our choice visiting Miami South Beach again in the future.

Had dinner at Ocean Grill. It was amazing!!! Great food and great service by Biyana and Rosio. They were so attentive to our needs and made the dinner espectacula.

The residences are definitely the best choice over the hotel proper, however be aware construction is happening on both sides of the hotel currently which does create a bit of noise. They offered to move us to higher floors or the hotel and were beyond accommodating, however we stayed but in our 1 bedroom suite and found it well appointed with terrific views. The staff was truly first rate, on par with an Aman or Four Seasons, including the pool attendants, Eugene, Mateo and Bruno who were truly delightful, saving us the same chairs every day and attending to our every need. Thanks you so much to the concierge, I think maybe Paolo, who got us in to an impossible dinner reservation at Aviv at 1 Hotel for a private dinner during Art Basel week on a Sat no less. First rate experience outside the construction noise and would recommend it, including the Jaya restaurant btw, which has a fabulous show with suspended dancers on the stages in the middle and a Sunday brunch with literally anything you would possibly want. Gorgeous property. Beach and pools were perfect and allowed a family friendly atmosphere. Restaurants were delicious and the rooms could not have been better! It felt like home while on vacation! Will definitely return!
