The Shelborne by Proper

Obsessed. My new favorite on South Beach and I come to Miami at least once a year. We celebrated our anniversary here and before we even arrived, Crispy at Guest Services reached out to make it extra special - and she did! First of all, the Kelly Wearstler redesign is absolutely stunning. The furniture and decor is a work of art. I honestly loved just walking the grounds in the morning taking in the decor. Modular, funky, modern, beautiful. The pool is gorgeous. The pool chairs are so thick, luxe, and so comfortable. Our room (Oceanview 811) was amazing. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast, food, and drink excellent. Loved the cafe and Pauline. Sound bath by Didi at the fitness center was lovely. Can’t wait to stay again!

We almost booked a different hotel but decided to upgrade to the Shelborne at the last minute, and we’re so glad we did. The hotel is beautiful, combining historic charm with modern style. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and felt upscale without being stuffy. We especially loved the pool area and the easy beach access with chairs and umbrellas. The location was perfect, allowing us to walk to restaurants, shopping, and many South Beach attractions. Even though it was close to everything, the hotel still felt peaceful and relaxing. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Every time we returned after exploring Miami, it felt like coming back to our own little oasis. The overall experience exceeded our expectations and made our family vacation even more memorable. We would absolutely stay at the Shelborne again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting South Beach.

Olivier’s positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to help stood out every step of the way. He made a lasting impression, and we truly appreciate everything he did for us.
