Inconsistent service, decent stay
We stayed in a Studio room with a spacious bathroom and very clean. The AC worked well, and the room was not quiet between floors, door slams, and music from a club downstairs that could be heard throughout the night. The bed was comfortable but not luxurious. The European-style weekend breakfast buffet was excellent, between the buffet and omelet station, there was no need to order à la carte. Staff were adequate but not particularly warm. The gym was bright, cool, and spotless, with plenty of new equipment. The pool area was loud and crowded, and attendants seemed overwhelmed, though Sam stood out as polite and helpful. Not a relaxing experience but that’s typical of Miami. The frozen grapes and drink samples were a nice touch. The beach filled up early. Alex at the spa gave a nice massage, the spa facilities were closed for renovation. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Extra pillows took two calls and over 30 minutes to arrive, and our specifically scheduled 6 a.m. room service we intended to eat before our early flight showed up over 20 minutes late with many requested details missed. Frustrating. The complimentary bikes were uncomfortable and hard to steer, skip them and rent a Citibike instead.

Had a great trip to the W. Anthony at the pool was a very gracious host. Very accommodating and helpful! Look forward to coming back soon.

A great stay
Had a great stay! The hotel is nice and in a central location, just a few blocks from Lincoln Road shopping. The pool area was great and we had great service from Eve, and others.
