Reviews for Biltmore Hotel Miami - Coral Gables

AMAZING!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 7 hours ago

The rooms are beautiful, classic, and tastefully decorated. My stay felt comparable to the St. Regis in NYC. Even the restroom on the LL, on the way to the pool area was stunning. I gasped when I walked in. The Valet, Front Service, and concierge teams were among the best I have ever experienced. They were attentive and stood at their post every time I walked past them. I would also like to especially recognize Tyler at the pro shop / starter area. I am not entirely sure of his title, but his energy was exceptional. He was incredibly positive, always wearing a great smile, and more importantly, he greeted or acknowledged EVERY SINGLE guest who passed by. I sat in the area for about 20 minutes, and Tyler did not miss a single person. He also offered water to guests who were waiting and checked in on them to make sure they were doing well. I would also like to mention Maritza, the spa attendant, who was equally wonderful. She embodies the true definition of hospitality. She was attentive and anticipated our needs so naturally. Her warmth and care made the experience feel incredibly personal and comforting. She made us feel like were we lounging at home. I wanted to share how impressed I was with your team and the level of execution I experienced during my visit at the beautiful Biltmore Hotel.

Stunning place, the bed was superb and so we're the staff. Pure luxury! But hotel was freezing cold

Wow wow wow what a place?! Bars were superb. Staff and valet team the best. Everything is luxury and well worth the price. The pool area clean and lovely. Maybe need to look at better bar management outside and staff that know what theyre doing. Only rated a 4 as the place was freezing cold, just dont get why the air-conditioning has to be so damn high! We had to keep escaping outside to stay warm. Gym the best I have ever seen

Great memories

I found our photographs from this hotel last year and it reminded me how much I loved it! The beautiful pool, courtyard and fountain. It was such a peaceful spot away from busy Miami. I hope we can go again.

Cigar smoke good for the few and awful for rest of us

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

The cigar smoke ruined dining experience. My husband started bringing me here 4 years ago after our son passed away - for change of scenery - the outdoor dining with parrots and other beautiful birds was magical & my favorite part of trip ( from St Pete ) as is everything about this beautiful hotel. However, this year , no one was allowed to eat in the open patio -except one table of cigar smokers - both nights - & the best tables in the covered lanai ( with view of fountain , orchids and birds) were ruined as they were too close to the smoke. So F everyone else & let one table have entire fountain area to smoke.

Peasant in the ghetto

Terrible experience. Went for conference. At check in, the front desk person spoke very broken english. Only thing he said clearly was "you're with a conference, you get no benefits" (I'm an iPrefer member). After giving me my keys for a 2nd floor room, he pointed to the elevators and said something like "stairs or elevator". We got on the elevator, and there was no second floor. We went up and down the elevator, back to the main lobby where a bellhop said it was in an adjacent wing, and I would have to take the service elevator or walk up the stairs (with luggage and bruised ribs). Spent the week up and down the service elevator, which was disgusting. Each time on bottom floor the gym attendant tried to sign me into the gym while getting on the elevator. On Friday, we planned to sit at the pool before our Friday afternoon flight, but they took away the chairs for "an event later in the day". Room was OK. Tight sink layout for two people. Restaurant was very good, which gave the second star.
