A health inspector needs to visit East Hotel brickell on multiple occasions. Upon my initial arrival, the hotel room was clean. However, subsequent visits revealed a filthy rrom during my last stay on August 1st, I had to relocate to another hotel. It seems they use the same cloths for every room, merely doing a quick wipe without any cleaning chemicals, resulting in inadequate cleanliness. I informed the front desk about the issue, and they offered me a credit of $100, but I want them to ensure their rooms are properly cleaned. While the location is convenient, the housekeeping staff appears to lack proper training.

The rooms are super small, the hotel and area is super noisy. I was not able to get a good night sleep over the weekend staying in the 28 floor. The room was not cleaned one of the days and the hotel loony at night is the entrance to the clubs. Hence, the lobby was full of drunk people hence, making it difficult and uncomfortable to arrive to the property sand the room.

We have been staying at East Miami for the past 2 years. Our son Lives in Miami & we visit from Sarasota. We stayed 1 week during Milton and just stayed 2 nights for our son’s engagement. We love the 2 bedroom corner residence suite and with such a great location, great amenities including restaurants , pool etc etcit is the ideal place to stay The service is so great too, with an attentive and friendly staff.

Unfortunately, this hotel falls far short of 5-star standards. The overall appearance is dated and dingy, and the in-room amenities are very basic—lacking even the usual sanitary items you’d expect from a hotel of this rating. The pillows were flat, the bed uncomfortable, and upon arrival, there was no assistance with our luggage. The valet staff didn’t even acknowledge us. Our room had multiple issues: the toilet wasn’t securely fixed to the floor, the shower leaked into the toilet area, and the bath produced brown water. The electric blind in the bathroom was torn, adding to the sense of neglect. There are ongoing construction works right next door, starting at 8 a.m. daily and continuing throughout the day. These works are directly adjacent to the hotel pool, making it effectively unusable due to the constant noise. In the evenings, the lobby becomes crowded with questionable individuals and intoxicated guests heading to the rooftop bar, which itself was underwhelming. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and when they did attend the room, they removed items like soap and coffee without replenishing them. Overall, this hotel does not deliver on the luxury or service one would expect from a 5-star establishment.
