EAST Miami

I stayed at EAST Miami from March 9th to March 15th, and unfortunately, it was the worst hotel service I have ever experienced. I am a very frequent traveler and have stayed at many luxury hotels around the world, so I do not say this lightly. The front desk staff consistently showed a lack of professionalism, attentiveness, and basic courtesy. Every interaction felt like you were bothering them. Requests were met with impatience, poor attitude, and visible unwillingness to help. One of the biggest issues was package handling. I informed the hotel in advance that I would be receiving multiple packages (I am currently pregnant and organizing important items). I provided names, tracking numbers, and clear instructions. Still, every single time I needed to retrieve a package, it was a struggle. The process is completely disorganized. Even after I checked out, I left clear instructions and authorization for a friend to pick up a package on my behalf. She went to the hotel and not only was the package not located, but she was also treated very poorly by the staff. This is unacceptable. The only positive point of this hotel is David, who works near the front desk. He was the only person who was kind, professional, and genuinely willing to help. Another issue: several staff members had difficulty communicating in English, which is surprising for a hotel in Miami and further impacts the guest experience. This hotel was recommended to me, but based on my experience, I would not recommend it to anyone. The service is far below what you would expect from a hotel of this category. Extremely disappointing.

This place is great. It’s accommodating, customer service is great. Anything you need available. It’s right on top of the shopping Brickell Centre that has all the shops.Sits right across from Gekko and other restaurants and clubs. It’s the vibe for couples just trying to have some fun and enjoy themselves.

Very spacious and modern rooms. Great location!! Hotel is clean and smells really nice!!

We saw the reviews and thought this would be a great 5 star one night stop. On arrival check in took for ever! Why so long? The staff on reception didn’t smile and the girl on the sugar reception was equally miserable. However the staff in the restaurant were excellent. Our room was ok but as we were next to the lifts we were constantly woke by the lift noise. We stayed at the four seasons Miami the week before which was a true 5 star experience.

Great hotel and staff in a great location. Stay here whenever it’s available as it’s my favorite spot in Brickell. Highly recommend it.
