We saw the reviews and thought this would be a great 5 star one night stop. On arrival check in took for ever! Why so long? The staff on reception didn’t smile and the girl on the sugar reception was equally miserable. However the staff in the restaurant were excellent. Our room was ok but as we were next to the lifts we were constantly woke by the lift noise. We stayed at the four seasons Miami the week before which was a true 5 star experience.

Our stay at EAST Miami started with some challenges, but what truly defines a hotel is not the absence of issues — it is how leadership responds. We would like to sincerely recognize Georgios Atzemouglou, Executive Relations Director, whose personal involvement, empathy, and professionalism completely turned our experience around. He took the time to listen, acted decisively, and ensured our concerns were addressed with care and respect. His leadership restored our confidence in the brand and transformed our stay into a memorable one. This level of accountability and guest focus is rare and commendable.
