EB Hotel Miami Airport

I was hoping my overnight stay would be luxurious as a rest stop before my early morning connection flight. I was disappointed on so many levels, especially because this hotel is not inexpensive. When I checked in the receptionist had a hard time finding me a room. It took over 15 minutes. When I did get to my room, it was obvious it was a former smoking room as it smelt like smoke and the worst part is the air system didn’t work. The carpets look like they’ve been walked over by many guests with their shoes. There was visible dust around the bedside tables and outlets. And, after grabbing something to eat at the hotel restaurant where the service was friendly, but the food was not good, I came back to pulling back the sheets to go to bed only to see several curly hairs on the sheet, which indicated the sheets had not been changed since the last guest. I ended up sleeping atop the bedding with clothes on trying to ignore the heavy smoke smell in the room with the air system not working. So much for my luxury stay with a pre-5am leave hotel to get back to the Miami airport. My advice. Save your money. Avoid. EB is a want to be high end hotel. And at over $340/ night it’s extremely disappointing.

Very large rooms with 2 tvs n good seating area. Comfortable bed n big shower Only down not many restaurants in area. But good place to stay for Miami airport location

Wow! What a wonderful hotel! My initial impression was with the hotel shuttle from MIA - a super-clean Mercedes van and a friendly and helpful driver. The front desk ladies were cheerful and welcoming. I was so thrilled when I opened the door to my absolutely huge room. There was a living area with an enormous sofa and tv. Between the living area and the bedroom was a five star bathroom. The shower. Oh my! It was like a human car wash with a rain shower and four jets from the wall. The Archive bath products were a really nice touch as well as the large fluffy towels. The compartmented toilet area held the toilet and a bidet. The final wonderful surprise was an adjustable bed, and oh my goodness was my sleep wonderful.

Nice hotel about 3 km from the airport’s entrance (and about 200 metres from the actual airport space). I had booked this on an earlier trip, but our routing got cancelled, so I tried again. No wonder the reviews are so great! This is a wonderful facility. Staff are terrific. There is a free shuttle from/to the airport; we didn’t use it (too tired to wait, so took a cab). The rooms are HUGE (about 40 sq. Metres) with a lovely sitting area, a bathroom as big as a stateroom on a cruise ship, and lovely amenities. Quiet, even though it faces the airport. Super bar and restaurant. Nice pool. Front desk staff were wonderful and went the extra mile. Head bartender/waiter at the restaurant was most accommodating and cheerful. JUST A GREAT STAY. Shop around for the best price on line.

It’s been years since I’ve experienced five-star customer service like the kind Diego provided at the front desk.
