We stayed for one night before our cruise. The hotel was excellent overall. We were able to check in early- the room was clean and there was no issue with getting extra towels. Drinks in the lobby were good. But the best part was Freddy's Speakeasy. This is a small bar/ experience open only on some weekends. You are taken to a room decorated like a speakeasy on the level where the conference rooms are by the host. You are served one standard drink and then can order any other two or have one made for you or can participate in a drink making class. The bartender Carlos was exceptional and the host, Maria, super. I also want to commend the valet, Leaving for the cruise took a while, but mostly because people refused to move their vehicles so Ubers or taxis could pick up people. But the valet really tried to help us. I do suggest though using Ubers in Miami when possible. Most of the taxis we took were disgusting with rude drivers.
