InterContinental Miami

The hotel is in a great spot, lots to do in walking distance. The water view was beautiful. The service was amazing starting at the front desk checking in with Diana who helped us get all the best possible options for our stay. I am diamond so we had club access and spent a good amount of time there. As such, I have several folks to shout out who worked at the club: 1) Jacqueline - she made our meals so special, always giving us detailed treatment even tiny things like a salad dressing that was different from the one on a given day etc., she made us feel like a million bucks and was SUPER sweet 2) Alberto. He was like an ambassador for IHG, such a friendly chap, and gifted us a small stuffed animal for our nephew - full of history about the hotel, made us want to move to Miami! And 3) Danna - she was the one I spoke to recently on the phone because I had lost the scrap of paper where I made notes about these shoutouts (long overdue). Her pleasant personality is a big catch for the hotel - IHG you made out like bandits! Keep these beautiful people around they are what make your hotel great. Of course the cleanliness, food options, and beautiful lobby to meet friends in was also well noted and we would definitely stay again! Kind regards, Shane

This was my first stay at the Intercontinental Miami, and it was such a fantastic experience! My room was clean, spacious and so comfortable! I don't always sleep well in hotels but their beds are amazing!!! The staff is incredibly helpful and they are SO nice! They checked in with us regularly to make sure that we had everything we needed and to make sure we were happy with what we had. Once of their staff stopped into the conference room we were using as our "base of operations" and put a small vase of flowers on the table and said "For you. Every room needs flowers". It was so sweet, and so thoughtful, and we were so appreciative. What a lovely little extra. My team hosted our event at this hotel 2 years ago, and the staff remembered everyone who had been there before, and that goes a long way too. I would be remiss if I didn't mention their food. It's divine. Toro Toro in the lobby never let us down! The Cuban sandwich and truffle fries are 10 out of 10. The catering was amazing! When you're trying to feed 300 people and there are ZERO complaints - that's a win! I can't wait to visit again!

My guest left the hotel, because of not pleasant experience during check in. His name was not found during checked in. Email was send as instructed. When I called hotel was not able to locate e-mail initially, I forwarded the e-mail and hotel confirmed receiving it. When guest arrived Front desk delay checking in because they were not able to locate reservation. My upset guest left the hotel after unpleasant experience.

Jacqueline and Danna in the Club Lounge were wonderful! We loved their welcoming smiles! They made sure we had what we needed and provided great hospitality. The food and drinks were plentiful and quite good. Sunset views and a glass of wine…lovely!
