InterContinental Miami

This hotel is nice, clean, our room was comfortable, and we had no issue with basic service. The reason for the three star review is because the hotel claims to be luxury, so standards should be much higher. This hotel is very large and busy and rooms need some soundproofing to cut down on noise from hallway and between rooms. The hotel is in need of some updates. The pool and rooftop bar was not even open during our mid-week stay and there was no indication of this when booking, which was disappointing since they charge a "resort fee."

During my stay at the InterContinental Miami, I had breakfast daily at Olé, and I can confidently say that the experience was elevated entirely by the incredible staff. A special thank you to Eliana, whose attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism truly stood out. She consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, always with a genuine smile that made each morning feel welcoming and personal. I also want to recognize Yanet and Jessie, the hosts, who set the tone from the moment you arrive. Her charisma, positive energy, and friendly attitude made every breakfast start on the right note. She has a natural ability to make guests feel valued and taken care of. It’s rare to encounter service at this level, and both Eliana and Yanet are a true asset to the hotel. They didn’t just provide service—they created an experience. If you’re staying at the InterContinental Miami, make sure to have breakfast at Olé—and if you’re lucky, you’ll be taken care of by them. —Antonio

I like to share a memorable experience recently at Intercontinental Hotel in Downtown Miami. I received a gift a day pass from a friend of mine to use the pool at the Hotel. Mr. Mauricio Botero the Concierge welcomed me with a smile and warm welcome. He provided me with a full tour of the pool area, restaurant, and surrounding areas of the hotel. I am very impressed for his outstanding hospitality. He recommended me the restaurant and many other activities in the area. I noticed he is very knowledgeable and loves giving genuine services. I enjoyed the layout of the pool and the spa looks wonderful. I'm very much looking forward to staying in the Intercontinental Hotel in the near future.

I loved everything from the moment I stepped out of my Uber. I was greeted warmly by the bell hops; they took my luggage and guided me to the front desk to check in. We made some small talk while they were getting me set up & it always helps having their credit card. The lobby’s atmosphere is spectacular — very wide open with a bar, restaurant, and a few small shops including a Starbucks.
