InterContinental Miami

The people are what make this hotel 5-star...from the valet guys to the bellmen to the front desk folks to the lovely lady cleaning the room to the people in the business center managing packages...every single one of them so very helpful and so genuine. The drinks and food were great too.

Very pleased with our stay here at the Intercontinental. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I want to especially thank Jacqueline Flores from the executive lounge, who was so amazing and kind everyday.

I had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Miami. I was there judging the Miss Teen USA Pageant. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and exceptionally clean, and the staff throughout the property couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming. I especially loved having both a bathtub and a separate shower in my room—it added such a wonderful touch of luxury to my stay. The food was also fabulous, and I thoroughly enjoyed my in-room dining experiences. A few things kept the stay from being perfect. Unfortunately, I had to listen to loud construction drilling above my room for two days, which was definitely disruptive. I also found the scented, infused air throughout the hotel quite strong. It irritated my throat and lungs, and I would love to see hotels offer more fragrance-free areas for guests who are sensitive to scents. And one very small disappointment with in-room dining—asparagus was listed on the menu, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available to order during my stay. 😊 Overall, though, the InterContinental Miami is a gorgeous hotel with terrific service, wonderful food, and a luxurious atmosphere. Very nice experience. We stayed the 4th time at the IC Miami. We had 2 connected rooms with ocean view on the club floor. The IC club team was very committed ensured very luxerious and relaxed stay all the time. The only downsite of the club are the operating hours, it would be nice, if the would extend that to 9 or 10 p.m. Another nice new service was the that the team offered some nice cocktails between 5 and 7 p.m. Furthermore, the hotel has a quite good location for starting cruises or exploring the city.

We had a wonderful stay for my sons 15th birthday trip at the InterContinental Miami and would highly recommend the hotel. I was warmly recognised as an IHG Ambassador member throughout our stay, which made the experience feel particularly special. Communication with the hotel before and during our stay was excellent, with very efficient and helpful responses. A very special mention must go to Jolanda, Director of Rooms, who is a true superstar. She was absolutely amazing and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us. Her warmth, professionalism and attention to detail really stood out. We stayed in a beautiful one-bedroom suite, which was extremely spacious, super clean and very comfortable for ourselves and our 15-year-old son, who was celebrating his birthday during our stay. The hotel very kindly recognised the occasion with a lovely birthday cake and a personalised card, which was such a thoughtful touch. The Club Lounge was spacious, beautifully decorated and a lovely place to relax. The lounge staff were fantastic, friendly and attentive throughout our stay. One thing that really stood out was the warmth of the staff throughout the hotel. They would always say hello, goodbye, wish us a good day and make us feel genuinely welcome. Those little touches really do mean so much and make a stay feel special. We also really appreciated how accommodating after checkout, while we waited for our evening flight. This made our final day so much easier and more relaxing. This was particularly impressive given how busy the hotel was at the time, with the Miss USA contestants and their team staying there. Despite this, everything ran like clockwork and the service remained excellent throughout. We had a fantastic stay, cannot wait to return, and would highly recommend the InterContinental Miami.
