Kimpton EPIC Hotel

Having stayed at many hotels in Miami over the years, I can honestly say the Kimpton EPIC has become my new favourite. From the moment I arrived, everything was effortless. Check-in was seamless, and the front desk agent was genuinely warm, welcoming and informative, setting the tone for a fantastic stay. My room was spacious, beautifully designed, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. The highlight, however, was the view. It certainly lives up to the hotel's name, EPIC. I spent time relaxing on the balcony overlooking the water, and it was the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. I also visited Area 31, the rooftop bar, and absolutely loved the atmosphere. The space has incredible views, the bartenders were engaging and friendly, and they made some excellent cocktails. It's the kind of place where you can easily spend an entire evening. Dinner at Zuma was another highlight of my stay. The food was exceptional, the service was polished, and the overall dining experience was outstanding. It's easy to see why it has such a great reputation. The hotel's location is another major advantage. It's within easy walking distance of the shopping district, excellent restaurants and everything you need to enjoy downtown Miami, while still offering a peaceful waterfront setting. Overall, this is an outstanding hotel with exceptional service, efficient staff, beautiful rooms and a fantastic atmosphere. Every member of the team I encountered was friendly, professional and genuinely welcoming. I highly recommend the Kimpton EPIC Hotel to anyone visiting Miami. I'll definitely be returning, this has officially become my new go-to hotel whenever I'm in the city.

Eduardo the bellman was exceptional! Overall customer service was first class! Concierge was also great they recommended excellent restaurants and all where amazing.

I am a frequent business traveler and booked this stay through the American Express travel portal. On July 2, 2026 I inadvertently left my beloved and vintage Cartier watch in my room after checkout. Called the hotel as soon as I noticed its pouch missing, while housekeeping was still cleaning the rooms and before any new guest had checked in. From that call forward, the hotel did not act properly. I called multiple times over the day and following week. Initially spoke with lost and found who took info down to look into it. The manager on duty didn’t return calls that day. Head of Security never called back. A week later I finally reached the Head of Security, who told me directly that no report had ever been filed for my original complaint and that I should also file a police report - which I did. One day later, the hotel’s insurance representative called and told me an investigation had already been conducted. How is that possible when the Head of Security had just told me the day before that no report existed. The insurance representative was rude, I suppose I needed to be “more convincing” or dramatic for the claim to be approved? I asked her directly whether she meant I should fabricate information. She denied the claim on that same call. I am escalating this with Kimpton corporate and with American Express. To say the least, I am extremely disappointed by the treatment and behavior of hotel personnel. After staying at this and many Kimpton properties often throughout the years and having used it for clients, they are loosing my companies business. Travelers beware. I've been reading similar stories online from 'reputable' 5 star hotels in Miami.

He was professional, kind, and always willing to help. From assisting with our luggage and helping us when we changed rooms to bringing me a bottle of water so I could take my medication, he made us feel genuinely cared for. Thank you also to Alex at the front desk, who was incredibly accommodating. He checked us in early and quickly helped us switch to a room that better suited our needs. His outstanding customer service made all the difference. A beautiful hotel is wonderful, but exceptional service is what makes a stay unforgettable. Thank you, Hernar and Alex, for your kindness and professionalism. We can’t wait to return!
