Mayfair House Hotel & Garden

Such an inviting experience and atmosphere right off the bat when greeted by Fabian who was working for valet. Thank you so much for the hospitality and kindness!

This hotel is beautiful and one of the more unique properties that we've ever stayed at. The location is fantastic and is walking distance to everything in Coconut Grove. Our room was really cool and unique from many other hotel rooms that we've stayed at. Alejandro and the rest of the staff at check-in were friendly and inviting. The pool was great too. We did have some issues with our stay such as housekeeping not providing enough bedding or towels (even after requesting them multiple times) and long waits to get items such as ice to the room. The adjorning room door was very thin and the people in the room next to us were very loud late on a Wednesday night when my kids were trying to sleep. However, security was quick to quiet them down when requested. Also, we had a fantastic experience with management, particularly Greg and Michael the GM. They were kind and went the extra mile to make things right. Upon leaving, Fabian provided outstanding service getting us to our car safely. All-in-all, we would definitely stay here again.

Very unique and inviting hotel. Fernando was an amazing host he took care of all of our requests and exceeded all expectations. Food at sip sip was great and the signature cocktail was refreshing on a hot pool day. We loved the boutique feel of this hotel right in the center of amazing shops and restaurants. Great proximity to University of Miami also.

The rooftop bar is an outstanding place to enjoy an evening and to look over the city! Wonderful vibes! And the food you can order up there is brought up from the kitchen and is economically priced, so you can have a few drinks and a good meal without leaving the rooftop! The plants all around each floor with the open air opening to the top is a great vibe! The inner courtyard is loaded with tropical plants and opens all the way to the top! It even rains in the inner courtyard but you can still walk around the perimeter in a downpour. The free breakfast has good variety and is enough for a solid meal, my favorite was the Spanish quiche and fruit bowl. My wife liked the oatmeal with fruit and the cuban breakfast special, which was laoded with meats and cheese, so I (reluctantly) had to help her eat it all. (Somewhat reluctantly) Carla the breakfast hostess was quick, efficient and cheerful every morning! David and Fernando working the front (desk? there was no desk) were very outgoing and helpful in finding things to visit that met our tastes. They made some good suggestions and then let us explore them as we wished. From this hotel, you can uber to south beach, the vizcaya museum and little havana economically and easily without the hassle of driving in the traffic and looking for parking. In fact, we flew into Fort Lauderdale, ubered to the Mayfair, ubered everywhere while here and never had the headaches of parking and driving. It was wonderful! We will try this at other locations too!

We travel a lot but no other hotel compares to the Mayfair House! The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are unique and spacious. The best part of our stay by far was Fernando! He checked us in and made our check in experience a breeze! He was welcoming, cheerful, personable, and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Fernando made sure we had the best rooms to accommodate our large family and also ensured our rooms were close together. He was attentive and even checked in with us after we got to our rooms to make sure we were happy and comfortable. He truly went above and beyond and gave us such a positive experience. We would absolutely stay here again and hope we get to see Fernando again! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
