Christian at Valet is the best!!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Christian, who worked valet at the hotel, was honestly the best!!! He was always super kind, helped us with everything, and always had such a good, positive vibe. If we ever needed anything, he was on it! He really made our stay so much more fun and memorable, and you could tell he genuinely cared. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Unlawful Denial of Psychiatric Service Dog Access & Failure of Duty of Care

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We visited this resort as a family with our underage daughter's certified psychiatric service dog. During our stay, staff confronted our family at the pool and demanded the dog be removed — one guard justified this by citing his experience working at a bar. This triggered our daughter's anxiety in front of a pool full of guests. I was then required to leave her at the pool and go to the front desk to explain the situation and present the dog's certifications — despite his vest and documentation being clearly visible the entire time. For the remainder of our four-day stay, our daughter was too fearful to be alone with her service dog anywhere on the property, afraid staff would confront them again. Housekeeping refused to service our room for the entire stay, even after we repeatedly confirmed the dog was always with us and never left alone in the room. A pet fee was added to our bill and had to be disputed twice before it was finally removed. At no point were we offered any compensation or acknowledgment for what we experienced. For a resort that markets itself as dog friendly, the staff demonstrated a serious lack of understanding of ADA service animal law. We sincerely hope management takes meaningful steps to properly train staff on how to approach and accommodate guests with certified service animals, so that no other family has to experience what we did. Spring Break with family at Trump International Miami

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Our stay was pretty good overall. We had a 1-bedroom with kitchen and it was plenty of space for our family of 4. There were plenty of restaurants around, and a great European bakery across the street for coffee and breakfast. We had coffee a couple of times at the hotel as well as the breakfast buffet, but it was nothing special. The overall hotel is pretty nice, although they need to upgrade their lobby and the hallways. The staff was nice and friendly, no issues there. The pool was just okay, one needed a serious refresh and the other "quiet" pool was a nice escape from all of the kids at the other pool. There wasn't really any pool service, but you could get a drink quickly at the pool bar as well as lunch which was pretty good. The location is nice if you're fine being away from South Beach as it was a 30-45 minute trip one-way. But there are good restaurants nearby so finding a good spot for dinner was not a problem - even during spring break. Baires Grill across the street is pretty good for dinner. We also went to Aventura Mall as well as Shoppes at Bal Harbour. Both malls have great shopping and restaurants. My only issue during my stay was the fact that two elevators were out at the same time, so wait times to get to your room were as high as 15 minutes. They resolved the issue, but it was a real pain for a day or two. After they repaired the elevators, it was fine. Not sure I would stay here again unless I knew they made some major upgrades. The hotel was very clean, but looked out-of-date.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff was warm and friendly. The beach area and pool area were very clean. We cannot wait to go back. Next time I look forward to enjoying some spa treatments.

Of all resorts Trump Resort is the cream of the crop. I felt like a queen with the treatment. Service was great, the bell hops were great, the employees were great, and the beach was always clean. Drinks were delivered on the beach and our glasses never got empty. This will be the only place I stay when I'm in Florida.
