The Bulgari Hotel, Milano is an unexpected oasis of tranquillity secluded in the heart of Milan’s most prestigious shopping and cultural area. On a private street in downtown Milan, between Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, La Scala and the Accademia di Brera, in a tastefully renovated 18th-century Milanese palazzo is The Bulgari Hotel Milano, a five star hotel situated in the cultural and commercial heart of a city that, behind its austere façades, hides delightful and unexpected courtyards and green spaces. The hotel features 58 rooms & suites, a 4,000 sq m private garden, a spa with indoor pool, a sophisticated restaurant and bar with terrace lounge overlooking the garden. The luxury hotel’s 4,000-square-meter private garden, a natural extension of the nearby Botanical Garden, is a restorative oasis of serenity and relaxation in the midst of Milan’s busy pace. The bold style of the hotel restaurant and bar and informal approach to service create a pleasant atmosphere for lunches and dinners and for enjoying the original, dynamic Italian aperitivo that has made the Bulgari Hotel Milano lounge bar famous. Highly distinctive and contemporary, the Bulgari Hotel, Milano is giving new expression to the Italian flair for innovation and tradition.

This is on our top 10 list of one of the best hotels we have ever encountered. From the moment we checked-in, we felt swept off our feet. Our every wish was fulfilled. They asked us what we wanted for lunch and when we said “pizza” we were given a reservation at one of the best pizza places in the city and led to the hotel car before we could even think. Then when we said we needed a piece of luggage for our purchases, one was quickly bought and delivered to our room. Luca, our butler was so attentive and helpful. The room was specious and the guest gift of Augustus Bader products was over the top. Loved the breakfast and dinner at the hotel was memorable and fantastic. We have stayed at the Mandarin and Portrait in Milan and this is our new favorite hotel in Milan.

I stayed at the Bulgari Hotel Milan in September 2025, and while much of the property has its charm, my experience at the bar outdoors was not desirable. The garden setting should feel serene, but unfortunately there were so many pigeons, and the floor area was noticeably dirty, which detracted from the luxury atmosphere one would expect at a hotel of this level. The staff were friendly and polite, but I was surprised that they were not properly fitted with wardrobe, which did not align with the otherwise high standards of the brand. Overall, the outdoor bar experience did not meet expectations for a five-star luxury property.

Dear Goffredo and ENTIRE team, I can't begin to express my love and appreciation for this hotel and your staff. You created a memory for me and my family that will last a lifetime. We think of it every day. I look forward to seeing you again soon.

We went to this hotel because my wife is a Bulgari aficionado. The locale was splendid but the facility lacked charm and grace. The public spaces were dark (too much black on walls and carpets) and the outdoor was sparse. A nice if small restaurant abutted a smaller garden. The room we had was spartan to say the least. But, as noted, the locale was centrally located and within walking distance to the shopping, Teatro La Scala and good restaurants. The highlight of our business/pleasure trip was a personal tour of the newly opened Bulgari flagship store. This was more like a museum than store. Fantastic in every way and worthy of the Bulgari brand. I would suggest to the corporate powers that be that they carefully examine their hotels since they (at least the one in Milan) do not quite measure up to their standards in terms of style or personnel. A reputation is easily damaged when your name is sullied by anything less than stellar

We have been staying here for many years . A gorgeous oasis in Milano . The new gym is excellent and the refreshed interiors look great . Spa is also excellent. Brera is a great district but the Duomo is maybe a 10 Minute walk . Do book outside as it can get busy
