This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had in years — not because of one issue, but because everything went wrong, and management handled it poorly from start to finish. I stayed for a very short business trip (two nights) and encountered nonstop problems: First room had a strong chemical smell that made me dizzy, plus unreliable Wi-Fi. I was forced to change rooms, during which my luggage was mishandled and delayed. Second room had lights turning on and off all night due to faulty motion sensors, making it impossible to sleep. Wi-Fi in the new room was so slow I could barely work. Plumbing didn’t function properly and made loud noises throughout the stay. For a hotel positioning itself as luxury, this level of basic failure is shocking. What made the experience far worse was management’s attitude, specifically the Operations Manager, Jessica. Instead of accountability or empathy, I was met with defensiveness, dismissiveness, and accusations that were simply untrue. Legitimate concerns were treated like inconveniences rather than problems to be solved. There was no ownership, no apology, and no attempt to make things right. The only positive worth mentioning: the luggage assistance and concierge staff were genuinely kind, professional, and helpful. They were the only people who behaved like they worked in hospitality. Between the room issues, the operational chaos, and the way management handled everything, I would not recommend this hotel especially for business travelers or anyone expecting professional service.

This hotel is great, the best location in Milano. The service is great and breakfast items are fresh and have verities. Would stay here again next time

The staff are great, the hotel Is very nice and right next to Duomo. I would suggest sound proof windows though since it can get a bit noisy at night.

Excellent stay, people were good. Easy to get a taxi from the doorman, room was spacious and well maintained. Loved the bathroom kits, with toothbrush, paste, qtips, shoe sponges, makeup stuff (not for me). They stocked the mini fridge couple times a day which was nice. Room service food is excellent, maybe best food we had. Went to eat in the restaurant was only thing better. Location is awesome and you can walk down to the galleria anytime. Breakfast was a dream, particularly liked the pastries and juices and the honeycomb. Not sure how our stay could have been better. Little bit of walking thru the halls to get to our room and some construction going around on but never bothered. Will come back again.

I’m going to rate this 3/5. And before I go on, I’d say you could stay here as long as you understand what you’re getting - It was miles cheaper than any other central hotel. Amazing view from bedroom. Spacious. Good aircon. Toiletries and towels and a complimentary mini bar. And some chocolates and a note. So that’s all very good. The staff were also very helpful. In short there’s plenty to like so far. It’s just a shame about the “room for improvement” list. It’s quite long: Firstly - the whole hotel had no alcohol free alternatives. Even though the menu clearly stated that it sold alcohol free lagers. When I asked. Excuses. The Italians are very good at making excuses and not taking responsibility . “Oh the menus are old”. In that case, write a new menu, bonehead. “Oh, we had a party in and they drank all the Prosecco”. Wow, what could you possibly do to rectify that? Maybe go shop, genius. So not acceptable that . The room - large. Some would say sparse. I certainly would. One chair. No table. Outside (dirty) terrace. No chair, no table. Worn floors in bathroom look wet, when just worn out. Fancy electric toilet, broken. Not working. Looks like it hasn’t worked since Shrek took a huge dump on it. Bed was comfy and aircon was good. Toiletries good too. No socket by bed, only one in bathroom and one over the other side of the room, so once you run out of battery your phone days are OVER. I mean really - come on. It’s 2025. So all in all it’s ok. It’s cheap. It’s clean. It could be a lot better, but I doubt anyone will read this or really care too much. They will probably make an excuse like “Oh sir, we couldn’t read the review because someone stole the bulb out of the office light!” Away lads.
