While the location is amazing, the service is hit and miss. Generally I found the service quite good - some staff put in a lot more effort which was really appreciated and others, not so much. Consistency would be appreciated. I also asked for a room with an open aspect and was put at the end of a hallway at the end of the hotel looking onto a concrete wall. I did not appreciate this at all. It was depressing and the room was not as presented in the hotel website pictures - it was run down and missing cushions etc. I also ordered and paid for an E class Mercedes to take me to the airport and was put into a minivan. This is completely unacceptable. I wouldn't stay there again as the whole vibe is off. I prefer a hotel that is warm, friendly, inviting and prioritises it's customers and their needs.

I booked this hotel because of its wonderful location ( behind the Duomo) but did not know it. Well, it is an absolute gem! You enter a cool, elegant space that smells gorgeous. The staff are impeccably polite and helpful and ,to add delight to my 60th birthday trip , we were shown to our room personally (by the very helpful Mirko) where we discovered that we had been upgraded to a beautiful room with a gorgeous bathroom. Additionally, we were able to use the VIP lounge which was cool, spacious and stocked with delicious snacks. The service and care that we received made my birthday weekend so very special. I thank the team hugely for their beautiful hotel .

This time, we chose to stay at the Rosa Grand instead of our usual favourite, the Principe di Savoia, so that we could walk to La Fenice Opera House in the evening—and the Rosa Grand is fantastically located for this. Its location in the very heart of Milan, just behind the cathedral and only a few minutes’ walk from Via Monte Napoleone, Via della Spiga and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, makes this hotel truly exceptional. We stayed in a Grand Deluxe Room with a View overlooking Piazza Fontana, with its beautiful historic fountain, the Santuario di San Bernardino alle Ossa, and the Torre Velasca—a modern Milanese icon that looks particularly impressive when illuminated at night. The room was very pleasantly furnished and featured a large walk-in wardrobe, reflecting the stylish and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel as a whole. One of the reasons we chose the Rosa Grand was its valet parking service, which worked perfectly. When we were leaving, our car was brought to us within five minutes.

I booked two rooms for five people at this hotel via email, and they charged me for two rooms: one for two people and one for three. When we entered, we found a room for two people, and they told us that the third person had to sleep on a chair. I confirmed that it was a room for three people, and they said yes, but they lied to us when I entered the room, saying it was a bed for two people, which doesn't even fit two people. Therefore, they gave us rooms at the back of the hotel because I am a regular customer, and this is how they value their regular customers. However, when I asked to change rooms, they said, "Sorry, I need my sick son to sleep in the bed." They replied, "One of your three children must sleep on a chair tonight." This is what they call human rights! I'm complaining to the Italian government about this treatment we received at the hotel. I've traveled to many countries where cooperation is excellent, but at this hotel, they take what's rightfully yours. You have to sleep on a chair. They tell you it's a room for three people and charge you for three, but the third person has to sleep on the chair. I refused, but they wouldn't refund the money I paid in advance. I urge everyone planning to stay at this hotel to specify everything before paying the bill because they take what they can without any regard for human rights. Their concept of human rights is a complete lie. I booked room number 462 they told me triple but I ask the owner of star hotels please this room is triple or you put one bed and the third one have to sleep on the chair Done
