This hotel’s best feature is its location—truly unbeatable. Just a short walk to the Duomo and surrounded by shopping, restaurants, museums, and charming streets, it makes exploring the city effortless. Highly recommended for convenience and accessibility. That said, the hotel itself feels dated and in need of refreshment. The rooms are clean but tired, more reminiscent of a modest business hotel than a boutique stay. Breakfast was basic, similar to what you might find in a roadside motel—functional but uninspired. Unfortunately, the staff reflected a similar lack of energy. The front desk was often unattended, and bellmen were rarely present, leaving the experience feeling impersonal and indifferent. Overall, it’s a comfortable enough place to rest your head if your priority is location, not atmosphere or service.

We had the occasion to stay in this hotel as we were joining a tour to the Lakes region and this was the starting point. So we arrived 2 days before the tour and explored Milan a bit. First, and most importantly, the location was great! We could easily walk to the Duomo, and the beautiful shopping center (Galleria) which was beautiful with amazing, high end shops and restaurants. The staff was helpful and kind and everyone spoke english. Natalie at the reception desk was especially kind. The buffet at breakfast was lovely with the absolute best barista ever! Our room was quite small and dark, but we were so tired after our flight, we slept like babies! Doorman Mohammad was helpful and taxi cabs were readily available.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in early September. Its stand out attraction is its location. 5 minutes walking has you at the Duomo, La Scala, the shopping gallery, restaurants and numerous museums and churches. Check in was smooth and our room was well proportioned. Compared to the 3 other hotels we stayed at in Italy during this holiday we did not find the breakfast variety or staff interaction, to be quite as good

Beautiful hotel. My passport was lost on the train going to Milan and the hotel helped and understood the issue. Luckily I was able to get my passport back. The rooms are beautiful. The only issue I had was that it’s a shower and tub combined which I don’t prefer. The breakfast is good but not the greatest I have had in Europe. The location is fantastic.

Hotel within walking distance to the Duomo. Love the marble steps inside. Breakfast was excellent. Pool area small but nice view. Very small lobby and bar area. Front desk staff could be a little more pleasant.
