Milan is a city that puts fashion first - an attitude which Sina The Gray takes to heart. Sleek and unabashedly stylish, this hotel caches its bold contemporary flair in a residential street between the historic Duomo and La Scala Opera House. Furthering this exclusive hideaway's elite ambiance, intimate guest rooms blend warm earthy colors with the feel of a designer showroom. As for Le Noir restaurant, it is the place to see and be seen.

We arrived directly from a 3-day hiking trip in the Dolomites and were so happy to find a simple but luxurious room with a beautiful bathroom and thick towels! The staff who greeted us - even from a block away from the hotel as we negotiated driving into the center of Milan - at the front desk were incredibly warm and welcoming. It was a bit of a splurge but I would stay there again in a heartbeat!! Thank you to all the staff at Sina the Gray ❤️

The hotel staff were extremely helpful in arranging transportation to the Milan Central train station as well as making dinner reservations for us. The room was very nice, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is central to the city center to walking was a breeze to Duomo and shopping.

The location of the hotel is really amazing. It's around the corner from the Duomo and shopping. However, make sure you really check the size of the room you're booking. It's the tiniest room I've ever stayed in, with only about 1.5 feet around the edge of the bed and that's it (there wasn't really even room for me to unzip my suitcase without it blocking access to the bed). I also had a few awkward surprises with my bill. I was told at check-in that I had access to the breakfast in the morning...but at check-out, they tried to charge me 28 euro for it. They did remove the fee after I explained I was told it was free, but it took a few minutes of awkward discussion. The other thing I wish they had made me aware of was a 5% "discretionary" charge added to the bill to tip the staff. Given the cost of the room, this was not a small fee, and I had not even stayed for 24 hours (there was no room cleaning, and I barely interacted with the staff). When I expressed concern, I was made to feel pretty guilty about not wanting to pay and wound up agreeing to it. Given the amount, this really should be mentioned up front at check in, especially since most hotels do not charge this. Overall, I'd still consider staying here again. Aside from checkout, everyone at the hotel was very kind and helpful. Just make sure you check the room dimensions and understand the hidden fees so you aren't surprised.

A beautiful hotel in a perfect location. We stayed here over the Christmas holiday. The service was impeccable and the staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were beautiful and we loved the style. We are looking forward to returning for another visit soon.

The hotel is brilliantly situated in the centre of Milan, just across from the Duomo, many cafes and restaurants and the fabulous Milan shopping; we have stayed there many times. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We highly recommend Sina The Gray! Liz K.
