Theft at Rosa Grand Hotel – Management Ignored the Case for Over a Month I am writing this review to warn all travelers about a very serious incident at Rosa Grand Hotel. Our personal belongings were stolen from the hotel storage room when we were leaving the property. The hotel has CCTV security cameras, and the incident was recorded. Despite this, it has now been more than one month, and the hotel has provided: • No compensation • No explanation • No timeline for resolution • No responsibility toward the guest When we left, we were only sent an insurance reference number via Gmail, and since then, no real action has been taken. This is not a minor inconvenience — this is a major security failure. A hotel that cannot protect guests’ belongings and then ignores them afterward cannot be trusted. Until this case is resolved and compensation is paid, I will continue to share this experience publicly so that other travelers can make an informed decision. Do not leave valuables at this hotel. We did not stay in this hotel although have stayed in star hotels elsewhere and they have never failed to please us. On this occasion we stopped at the Rosa Grand Milano hotel bar for drinks and a bite to eat and were met by Giacomo the cocktail/bar man who was incredible! His knowledge of cocktails and serving techniques, alongside his friendly, intriguing personality made our short stay in the bar a wonderful experience! Thank you so much! , this is what makes your hotels and the experience your customers will always remember Well Done 👏

The positives: Good selection at breakfast buffet, rooms were pretty good size, and great location near the Duomo (better than other high-end hotels in Milan). Negatives: Staff was not friendly during breakfast the first morning, rooms and room service was lacking in some areas (e.g. only one bathrobe in a room meant for two people, Heat/AC system was difficult to control, room service didn't replenish in-room coffee and tea even when we followed up, hallways were not well lit at all/very dark and difficult to navigate/confusing. Probably fine overall for 1-2 nights, but wouldn't recommend for longer than that for the price.

2 Grand Deluxe for 5 nights…..at almost full price seasons (compared with other competitors) and what offered was much below expectations! I am travelling for 35 active years/being black member on airlines and gold on major hotels chains. In detail: -initially 2 rooms given with ZERO view (I cannot understand how such conditions still allowed for at least a 4 star hotel! After my complain, changed the other day in 2 much better rooms with very nice view (but we lost sufficient time to repack/transfer) - breakfast room was terrible….not even a single window! It was like a previous parking space which converted to “restaurant”! - even before arrival at the hotel and also on previous check out day, requested for 2 hrs extension (3pm) in order be able spend few hrs shopping in the town and catch up my late evening flight…..but they didn't offer even one of the rooms as requested (only for extra payment and very bad attitude in the reception!) - service in general was below expectations in general (forgot to make up one of the room one day/breakfast was strictly up to service time…not even a minute later…doors closed even few minutes before!…..) - parking service was the most expensive ever paid in my “traveling” life (65 euros/day)… - building/facilities in general in need of renovation/outdated….my bathroom flooded few times due to blocked drains - New Year Eve “dinner party” offered by hotel (a prepaid service at an amazing expensive cost….for what offered) was a very bad surprise for that evening, with poor quality plates/taste and service.I did a complain (via concierge desk) to manager and I never git a reply!….(totally unprofessional attitude). However, concierge department offered unforgettable service/very proffesional people and run that department by their own! Never again….sorry!
