A Westin in name only. My family and I have stayed at Westin hotels in Madrid and also Florence. Both of which are amazing. However, Milan’s rooms we expensive and sub par for the brand. Neither rooms AC would go below 23.5 degrees. One rooms toilet was a constant run-on, neither room had luggage racks, so our luggage sat on the floor like you’re staying in a train station. All of this at Westin prices. I asked the front desk to please come and correct these things with no response after asking twice. There is one section of the hotel that has been renovated within the last couple years. But , the rest of the rooms, especially the bathrooms are really showing their age. Big disappointment that the front desk offered zero in way of trying to make it up to us. Won’t be staying at that hotel again.

Exceptional levels of service keep this hotel competitive. Alessandra & Carol at the front desk provided excellent service and help as we were traveling with young children. Good sized rooms, overall, capable staff. Hotel could use a freshening up but overall works well. Walkable to Monte Napoleone, Duomo, Brera (all around 15). Near station as well.

I stayed at The Westin Palace Milan for one night in June 2025. While the welcome from the reception team was warm and professional, the overall experience was very disappointing due to the condition of the room. When we arrived, the room wasn’t ready, so we waited. Once we entered, we noticed visible hair on the floor, near the bed, and in the bathroom, along with unclean bathroom spots. The worst part came at night: when we opened the blanket, a couple of small flies flew out from the bedding. We reported it to the night team who could not change our room due to full occupancy, and only offered basic cleaning. The next day, the front desk manager apologized but took no further action. For a five-star hotel, this is completely unacceptable. I’ve stayed in many luxury properties, including this one two years ago, and was shocked by the difference in standards. I expected much better from Westin and Marriott. Would not return based on this experience.

My husband and I stayed here during our Milan trip before heading to Como. The hotel is historic and close to a subway stop so it is easy to get around, and is not far from Milano Centrale. The room was beautiful and large with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Clarissa at the front desk was amazing and made our stay feel so personalized. The breakfast was one of the best we had during our 2 week Italy vacation and the staff went out of their way to recognize my loyalty status. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
