Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills

Wonderful hotel with excellent service. One of my favorite Hyatt’s worldwide. Second time there. Liked it better than Park Hyatt Tokyo. The breakfast is impressive.

This is an expensive, high level hotel that should give visitors a memorable experience while there, but it felt very average and unmemorable to us. Perhaps if you have Hyatt status, you are treated well, but we do not and we were not. The rooms are lovely and spacious (though I was not a fan of the carpeting and the Shining-esque hallways), the views are great, but the staff seemed disinterested and somewhat inattentive during our stay. The hotel is also in a building where you have to take an elevator from the ground to the 51st floor, then go through a lobby to a different elevator to get to your floor, which is a pain. The convenience of the subway access is nice and the bathtubs are great. This cost twice the price of a room at HH Shibuya, where we also stayed, and it wasn’t worth it. Not a wow for us.

Best hotel experience of my lifetime. Perfect room, amazing staff, endless eating options, and heavenly swimming pool.

From start to finish, we loved everything about this hotel. The cleanliness, the aesthetics, the staff, the service, the convenience of being so close to the train station, the size of the rooms... the only down side is that, we are now spoiled and fear no other hotel will be this good in Tokyo or the States for that matter.

Gorgeous hotel. Spacious rooms. View of Tokyo tower is unobstructed and stellar. Happy hours were really lively and fun. Location wise it is in a more business-y district, but the hotel literally sits on top of a subway station. Hard to beat catching the train literaly ON SITE, and it takes just a few mins to reach the lively areas of Tokyo. The rooftop is amazing as well. Would stay again for sure.
