More of a halfway house than a hotel
It's a boutique hotel run by people that have never stayed at one with indifferent service and a lobby that looks more like a rec room at a penitentiary than a hotel lobby. Also you get to go and back and forth to another hotel in order to park your car which is the only way to get in the building much of the day. Will not stay again.

Overall experience not bad. The restaurant was nice but the quality of the food should be evaluated. Ordered food twice and both times the food was dry. Way overpriced

Nice stay in central location
The best things about the Hyatt Centric are it's good location (close to lightrail) and nice, quiet rooms. I appreciated that there was a lot of counter space and drawers (!) in the bathroom, along with good lighting. Food options are rather limited, especially at midday, so bring snacks.

Mixed feelings about this Hyatt. I wouldn't return to this one.
I chose this Hyatt over the regency Hyatt because it looked more charming. As others have mentioned, parking was a bit odd, across the street with poor signage inside. Front desk staff was mixed. One of the employees was pleasant and the other one didn't seem like he wanted to be there. I ordered food at the restaurant, in person for room delivery. That gentleman was very pleasant and helpful. The room was a great size. But it was too hot and the air conditioner would not go any lower. The mattress was too soft and felt like it needed replaced. And in the morning as I walked into the bathroom there was a roach scurrying across the floor. I managed to squish it and notified the front desk. I was on the 7th floor and it did make me wonder about the conditions in the kitchen. Yikes.

Awesome staff, very helpful and very accommodating to any needs I had. The food was also great and was priced very reasonably.
