Ideally located in a central location, our hotel is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and bars. We are connected to the whole of downtown by the interior Minneapolis Skyway, covering 80 city blocks and including the Target Center, home of the professional basketball, which is just steps away in a climate-controlled walk away. Target Field is a five-minute walk, and The North Loop and U.S. Bank Stadium are only a mile away. Our spacious guest rooms and suites provide spectacular city views.

Really liked this hotel! Staff was fantastic! Room was great! Found the pillows on the soft side but I think that’s typical for most hotels. Mattress was comfortable though. Only issue was that we couldn’t access the baseball game on the TV in the room. Adam from maintenance came up to try to fix but said it’s a known issue with access from the rooms - can only access the station in the hotel bars. Hopefully this gets resolved and isn’t any issue with the other sports. Glad I read the reviews about parking in advance - choose the Mayo Clinic Square Parking on 7th Street. Pay in advance with SpotHero. We initially then walked around the block to enter the hotel but then the staff told us how to access without going outside.

My stay at the Lofton was great from check-in to check-out. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. All staff that I encountered were friendly as well. The room was clean and nicely adorned. The hotel is walking distance to many restaurants and directly across from Target field.

Check in is at 4pm, we arrived at 3:52pm and had requested 2 rooms next to each other. Well they could not accommodate unless we waited. It is very close to Target Field so that was nice. The outlets on the lamp between beds were garbage. It was like they were stretched out because my iPhone charger would not make connection unless I held it and slightly twisted. Don’t plan to watch TV most of the channels loose connection and get glitchy. The water is scalding hot so that’s a plus. Furniture appears cheap in the rooms, and pillows are garbage and flat.

This hotel basically is a business hotel. We would never stay here again. The staff was very polite. It's a great location. However, they advertised this restaurant the Cosmos located on the 4th floor everywhere in the building. The service is terrible. The waitresses can't get your order right. We wasted an hour waiting on our breakfast. They added ingredients in our omelet we didn't want. They wanted to correct this and redo our breakfast only to prepare it the same way again. We left out & I complained with management. We were informed that we can get a comped meal. we tried dinner. the steak was at least 35% fat. We didn't complain. Upon checking out I asked if our dinner was comped. I was informed Yes! I got the invoice via email and the manager never comped it. I asked for a bottle of water one day at the service desk and they stated no they only give out free water when you check-in. I will never stay here again. we Paid $250 a night for what??????

Checking in online allowed us to enter our room early. The room was fresh and clean with fridge, coffee maker, iron, hairdryer, everything needed for a great stay, The beds were excellent with plenty of pillows. Greg in the Apothecary bar makes an excellent Limoncello spritz! Easy access to the skywalk for both Target Center and Target Field. We look forward to a return visit.
