Traveled to Monte Carlo and stayed at the beautiful Hotel Hermitage for several days. Staff and service was amazing. We were greeted on arrival by a staff member named Giuseppe that went above and beyond to make our time here memorable.

Unbelievable stay. Clean rooms, attentive service. Giuseppe at the front desk was so helpful, and even remembered my husbands birthday and gave him a gift upon departure. The shuttle to and from the beach club was prompt and always there when we needed it. The hotel also provided complimentary transfers to dinners at the affiliated hotels when there was not a shuttle available. There were beach chairs consistently available at the beach club, and all the food was delicious. The hotel by far exceeded our expectations. We are already planning our next return!

Michael and I had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Hermitage in Monaco to celebrate his birthday. From start to finish, the experience was an absolute delight. A special thank you to Sophia, who checked in with us daily to ensure everything was perfect — and it truly was. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, from the birthday cake in our room to the impeccable nightly turndown service. Every detail was handled with care and elegance. An unforgettable stay — thank you for making it so special.

Sadly this grand old hotel is a dying legend. It is not what one expects from such a wonderful classical hotel. It feels understaffed (rooms were supposed to be ready for a 3 pm check in, we got our room after 4:30, there was one person at reception and a queue of 7, and housekeeping was way behind schedule) once we finally got the room it was in need of an uplift, certainly not the standard one expects. Staff is quite attentive, Housekeeping left no water in the room at night (a given in most hotels in this category). Overall very overrated, overpriced and sadly not up to par. The hotel seems to be living on a past glory and heyday, and is getting away with providing a so-so experience based on that.

I have stayed at this property more than 10 times, obviously I like it. I would not choose another hotel in the region. In fact, I would happily stay here and venture out to regional locations on a daily basis. 5/5 service, cleanliness, food, charm. Very easy access to the train on a daily basis to venture quickly to Italy or locations south (Nice, Grasse, Cannes). Walking distance to all port areas, casino, train, world class restaurants.
