This place is amazing the location the setting the facilities it should be 5 star everyday by everyone lucky enough to visit but it seriously lets itself down. The issues are in dishonesty, poorly prepared food by cooks who don’t know what they are doing, high prices and a corporate mindset. First of all the positives this is a must visit spa but be prepared to be disappointed and for it to be your first and last visit. The negatives are almost too long to list but the staff here will look to rip you off at every opportunity. I wanted it to be a stress free experience but constant arguments with the staff of getting what I paid for just ruined it in the end I was glad to leave. In reflection because I love Italy is that you get great service and value when it’s a family company but this place owned by a corporation is a failure .

We enjoyed our stay here. The service and room were excellent and we had a very restful stay. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner in the garden. The spa and outdoor heated pool were fun - especially since the weather was not the best those days. It makes for a good stopover. Everyone there was very friendly.

Friends brought us to this hotel. I trusted their knowledge and previous experiences before it was a Mariot-destination. The location and the cooking is to recommend. But the service and the frendliness of the staff is really bad. It takes long before staff is asking to serve you. The first day at the outdoor pool, double invoices appeared, altough I paid already the first one in cash. At the same table joined a friend who ordered extra. At the end he received the bill and more than 146 € was twice claimed! When we discussed with the serving staff, they were very unfriendy. The next evening we were dining in the restaurant. After the aperitifs, we received the first bill, to pay immediately those drinks. As we were hotel residents for several days our creditcards were asked at the check-in as guanrantee. Dinner at the same table and with the same number of guests, could not be combined with the drinks. The last day the bar at the pool, was "closed" for the weather? So, a bad experience and I will never go back as a repeat visitor. Mark Wentein, Belgium

Had a fantastic time at this resort! The staff were great. The food was amazing and it was a completely five star experience. The rooms are small but you are in Europe. The breakfast was great. The large thermal pool was amazing and the restaurant by the large pool was great and reasonable. The relaxing massage was fantastic and we toured the Grotta (underground cavern) which was fascinating. Hope to go back

Hotel is gorgeous and so nice but unfortunately the entire spa experience is very confusing and not as advertised. We spent the entire first afternoon of our stay wondering around, trying to figure out where to go and what to do because none of the different spa treatments and experiences were explained to us by staff when we checked in or even when we were walking around. We ran into two other groups who were just as confused and frustrated. This hotel would be a 10/10 overall if the spa was more organized and clearly marked.
