Celebrated for their majestic beauty, Quebec(TM)s Laurentian Mountains provide a stunning backdrop for Hotel Quintessence. Tucked into the foot on Mont Tremblant, northwest of Montréal, this Old World boutique hotel was declared a oegem” in November 2004 by Town & Country. Decadently spacious suites, all with French doors that open onto private balconies or terraces, feature magnificent views of Lake Tremblant. Savor traditional specialties at Restaurant la Quintessence, sip a fine vintage in a secluded wine cellar turret and spoil yourselves with a massage at Spa Sans Sabots.

We only stayed one night but the hotel left a generally very good impression. Staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful and although we didn’t get our room until quite late in the afternoon, we were given an upgrade which was very much appreciated. The room itself was huge and very comfortable and really we could not have wanted for much more. The hotels layout is slightly illogical in that you have to walk through the restaurant to get to the terrace and through the wine bar to get to the pool. I would have rated 4.5 :)

My wife and I spent two nights at Hotel Quintessence and had a fabulous time. Many of the other reviews touch on the size and quality of the rooms, as well as the restaurant food… so I won’t repeat that. I will emphasize two things: 1. Despite being just a few steps away from the main village of Tremblant, this resort feels very quiet and secluded. 2. The staff are really fantastic, very friendly people who obviously care about the guest at the hotel. Cannot say enough good things about everyone we dealt with. Overall our stay was fantastic and I would highly recommend the resort to anyone looking for a luxury experience at Tremblant.

It is definitely the best hotel in Tremblant. They treated me like gold. The accommodations are superior. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious, overlooking the lake. The staff are professional and courteous. The grounds are immaculate. The restaurant has top-notch food/service. I had the best time. I will definitely return.

This place is truly special! Beautiful hotel at the most beautiful setting. The bedroom was huge and had a nice view of the lake from its private balcony. The bed was one of the most comfortable bed ever!!! It just sucks you in! The bathroom was huge and super nice! The only thing missing from the room was a nice minibar. The fridge was empty! We had breakfast at the restaurant and the food was good. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5-star rating was because of the service. Except for Juan Carlos who was extremely helpful at check-in, the rest of the service was a bit messy. There was nobody to take our orders at the pool. The people at the reception desk didn’t know much about what to do at the village and how to get to the trails we wanted to do. We had to figure it out ourselves. Service at breakfast was nice but slow.
