About the Hotel

Few hotels have a restaurant by Joël Robuchon, one of France’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs, but Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo has three. One of them is a collaboration with designer Karl Lagerfeld, who created a bespoke mythological mural to preside over the terrace pool club. Located in the heart of Monte-Carlo, Hôtel Métropole is surrounded by haute couture, legendary casinos (guests enjoy VIP, admission-free entrance to the Casino of Monte-Carlo) and the residences of royalty. The hotel itself enjoys a storied past: Pope Leo XIII once owned the property.

First class hotel near Monte Carlo casino. Excellent gourmet restaurant, Les Ambassadeurs. Excellent breakfast buffet. Enjoyed watching the changing of the guards at the Palace and two separate day trips to Eze and Menton.

Perfection and Class with a personal touch

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of the team at the Metropole, we have had a short stay here this weekend. We have been coming to Monaco for 15 years and have always stayed at the Port Palace. The Metropole was a real treat and we will be returning as soon as possible. The hotel is a class above but has such a personal touch that makes you feel so welcome. From arrival to departure. Special mention must go to the beautiful team at Odyssey who can not do enough for you. And made our days by the stunning pool so memorable. Also to the wonderful breakfast team. Again nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast is by the far the best of any hotel we have stayed at in Monaco. We really don’t want to go home. It’s been a stunning experience. Thank you to all.

Ignoring the DND.

Unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations for a hotel of this level. During our honeymoon stay, hotel staff entered our room on two occasions without our prior permission, including while the “Do Not Disturb” sign was displayed. We raised our concerns directly with the hotel, but unfortunately we were also disappointed with how the matter was ultimately handled. We left the hotel feeling disappointed with our overall experience.

We went for a quick night in Monaco and booked through Amex. This hotel is amazing. Service, staff, rooms and facilities are exceptional. We were upgraded to a suite which was so great. Thank you.
