Reviews for Le Meridien Beach Plaza

Avoid unless it’s the last option, below average 4*

For 550EUR a night, this was one of the most mediocre hotels we have ever stayed at. They have four stars and they deserve all three The bathrooms haven’t been renovated since Princess Grace died, and the taxi line takes forever. Clientele is quite cheesy ,influencers etc, I d suggest paying couple of hundred more and staying at Monte Carlo Bay Resort next door. Pool is full of people quite nasty. Beach is ok but the water has lots of moss and seaweed and plastic on it

The worst first day you could even imagine

We have stayed at Le Méridien Beach Monaco multiple times before — at least 4 visits — but this experience was absolutely disappointing. Upon arrival, the service was terrible. We had to unload our own suitcases because the valet spent 20 minutes just trying to write down our name for the parking, which, by the way, costs €65. The concierge service simply watched us struggle with our luggage and only approached once we had finished unloading everything ourselves. Despite being here for the fifth time and members of their Bonvoy loyalty program — which is supposed to grant privileges such as upgrades, early check-in, late check-out — none of that was honored. When checking in, we had two rooms booked. We were told to wait 15 minutes because one sea-view room was ready but needed inspection. We ended up sitting in the lobby for over an hour instead of the promised 15 minutes. It seemed like they gave our room to other guests, and we were just left wasting our time. All these details were discussed in advance over the phone with the hotel reservation team. As returning guests and loyalty program members, we expected better. However, the receptionist told us, “Check-in is at 3 pm, wait another 15 minutes, and by the way, your loyalty membership means nothing here.” Judging by the number of people who arrived after us and got checked in before, we were definitely not the only ones inconvenienced. It’s disappointing. I sincerely hope Le Méridien Monaco takes action to train their staff properly and improve guest communication. After spending over an hour in the lobby, it’s clear we are not the only dissatisfied guests. There are even reports that hotel guests are being kicked off the beach at the request of other visitors. Extremely disappointing experience.

Excellent choice for relaxation but also accessing the sights

This hotel is an excellent choice for Monaco. It is a bit pricey but the location, pool, beach, and beach restaurants are all great. We had reserved a partial sea-view room and were upgraded to an oceanfront room. The room was very nicely done, excellent bathroom, and the air conditioning was awesome, best of our trip. Awesome view of the ocean, beach, etc. There is a bus stop about a block away and the buses are clean and super easy to use to get around town, much better than driving. Location is a nice break from the city, good for families but also nice for adults.

A low key, family friendly spot in ultra luxury Monaco.

She said: A pleasant walk from some of Monte Carlo’s more touristy must sees (Casino de Monte-Carlo, Cafe de Paris, etc) this hotel provides a private beach front retreat and pool perfect for the kiddos. He said: We didn’t take enough advantage of this fabulous location. The two minute walk to the promenade puts you in the mix of a whole nightime vibe. Make sure you figure out how to go downstairs for the real party. The Kid said: Luxury cars everywhere and we saw parts of the F1 track! 🏎️ A kid’s dream! Also the waves in the ocean were😱.

"I just returned from a Luxury Link vacation and it was, in a word, amazing. My girlfriend and I took a Radisson Seven Seas Mediterranean cruise with an additional stay at Le Meridian Beach Plaza in Monte Carlo. Everything was perfect! The cruise was fantastic, the service outstanding and the ports of call ideal. The hotel was in a convenient location, delightfully maintained and exactly as described on your website. This trip turned out to be one of our favorite vacations."
