A destination in itself, set on 400 acres of manicured grounds with two miles of beachfront. The accommodation at Half Moon has been designed with comfort and privacy in mind. With an abundance of space for comfort and relaxation, they have either patios or balconies, allowing guests to enjoy the peaceful views of gardens, pools and the sea from which a sweet and gentle breeze blows constantly across the resort.

I went for my 40th birthday. Overall the staff made it a 5 star experience. A couple times the waitresses in the restaurant didn't greet us and the bellman was rude with a bad attitude as we were checking out the resort but the rest of the staff were great so it made up for these mishaps. The chef, Nashawn, was world class and I had some of the best food on the island during my 9 day stay in different parts of Jamaica. I tried eating somewhere else for my birthday but I ended up back at Half Moon. The spa was magical. I would come back just for the food and spa.

I returned in April after booking one night last minute in February. The bell desk team and the breakfast servers at eclipse were so beautiful and made me feel so welcome and at home, I had to come back again. Ms. Paula Lilly and her team are impeccable. 5 Star treatment all around. It honestly started with a phenomenal call with Alesha Evangelist in reservations. Huge big ups to Symorne from housekeeping, Onella, Shakira. Andrauy from room service!!! Marvalynn from the bar!!! Kimberly and Tramean from concierge!!!!! Unbelievable service!!! Brenton from the bell desk. Gabby from the front desk!!!! This is the most professional well trained, white gloved service team in the Caribbean! I can’t wait to book again!!!!!! I already have three reservations pending for upcoming because of Paula Lilly and Alesha Evangelist and the whole crew!!! Rockstars!!!

Half Moon is an incredibly serene place, where you can be certain to fully recharge. I should probably add that the staff also goes above and beyond expectations. Unfortunately our 4 days were way too short, but we vowe to come back - with the kids next time :-)

We were a group of four octogenarians and the general consensus between us was that the staff was absolutely professional. From the moment we drove in (the wrong way!) ~ until the moment we left: -The bellhops made us feel comfortable and welcome. They guided us around the 400 acres; drove us to restaurants and tours of the vast property, with its three very distinctive areas. Their pride for Half moon was obvious. A heartwarming, personal testimony on the way to the managers cocktail party was” We love our GM.” -Front desk personnel were amazingly, calm and courteous, even with the rudest of guests. They get 100% for efficiency. -The housekeeping staff were very thoughtful and unobtrusive. -The food concierge made the right choices on where to dine. -The lifeguard who assisted me in and out of the sea. -The groundsmen and pool keeper of suites 1103 &1105 kept the pool and grounds immaculate. -The security walking the perimeter early morning and night always greeted me with a smile or some form of acknowledgement(a mango!) -The helpful staff at your extraordinarily delicious breakfast buffet. We discovered the mimosa bar on our last day! -And during our checkout, Brian, the senior Bell hop, saved the day by bringing a portable battery charger to our car. The car didn’t want to leave …..neither did we. We hope to return one day, As there is so much more to explore and enjoy on this magnificent property. Howard & Jane Taylor David & Mary Low P.S. Definitely go to the Beach Bar-B-Q night- great Jamaican cuisine and exciting entertainment.

Just returned from a terrific week in a villa at Half Moon with my family (6 adults and 4 kids). Interestingly, things got off to a bit of a rocky start when we were told a week before our scheduled arrival that the renovated villa we booked wouldn't be ready. While we were disappointed, the resort did their best to make amends with a good faith discounted rate and once we arrived the lovely beaches and great facilities erased any remaining negative feelings. We took advantage of the golf course, the pickleball courts, the bikes, the beautiful infinity edge pool and beach at Eclipse and the kids camp. But beyond the great, extensive facilities, the welcoming staff really made our week. Along with two golf carts to get around (lots of fun) our villa came with a butler, a cook and a housekeeper. Franklyn, Janice and Maxine were extraordinary - warm, welcoming and thoroughly professional, they took care of everything we needed during our stay. Janice's meals were delicious (we did a mix of eating in and dining out); soft spoken Franklyn couldn't do enough for us (always with a smile); and Maxine took great care of the house and our laundry. We'll definitely go back. One must: Don't miss the beach bbq. Good food, lots of variety, great fun and an entertaining show with local talent.

We just returned from a week away at the Half Moon resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It was a top-notch property with deluxe accommodations, supreme service and the most deliciously prepared foods we have ever had on an all-inclusive plan. We both agreed that we would return to Half Moon in a heartbeat.

From the time we got to the Half Moon resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, it was a lot more than advertised. The staff was more than helpful, the accommodations were better than excellent and they even upgraded us to the "royal suite." The food was first class, the choice of restaurants was great, and we enjoyed it so much. If you haven't been to the Half Moon, you really need to go there and witness for yourself why the Queen of England stays there.
