Excelent experience! The hotel is amazing, and staff is great as well, specially the concierne, and David at the bar...don't miss the "Chivito", a typical uruguayan meat sandwich .hope to come back for more days, as the neighbourhood is very fancy

We stayed at Sofitel Montevideo in July 2026, and from the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. He was always available, incredibly helpful, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. We would also like to recognize Santiago, who was equally kind, attentive, and supportive throughout our visit. It is wonderful to encounter people who genuinely care about their guests and take pride in what they do. As for the hotel itself, we loved absolutely everything: the beautiful historic building, the perfect location in Carrasco, the elegant and comfortable room, the outstanding breakfast, and the exceptional level of service across the board. Every detail contributed to making our stay memorable. We travel frequently and stay in many excellent hotels around the world, but what makes a place truly special is its people. The team at Sofitel Montevideo made us feel at home while delivering a luxury experience at the same time. Without a doubt, this was one of the highlights of our trip to Uruguay.
