Sofitel Montevideo Casino Carrasco and Spa

My husband and I spent 16 nights in Sofitel Montevideo in July ‘26. The location is wonderful- the ocean is within 200 m from the hotel, the beach is clean, with a wonderful fine soft sand. Yes, it was the winter, but you’ll always find ways to enjoy the ocean. What we appreciated the most apart from the cozy room and the splendor of the building, were the beautiful breakfasts- you should see the ceiling lights!))) but the selection of the foods was perfect and, of course, the care of the service brigade made our days. Thank You, Analia, for the warmth and the perfect sense of humour- we are missing our brief conversations and Your delicate care. Thank You, Josephina, You made us feel really comfortable- and with an air of nobility ❤️! Thank you, the kitchen brigade : your green detox juice is something I told my friends about, but failed to make myself))) Thank you, all the people of Sofitel personnel- because it is the people who fill the walls with spirit!

The restaurant is beautiful, and the food is also very good, but what really stood out to us was the service. We were served by Diego, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the entire experience. He truly made a difference! If you visit the restaurant, be sure to ask for Diego — it’s definitely worth it!
