Situated in an historic 1882 building, Auberge du Vieux-Port boasts an illustrious past intrinsically linked to that of modern-day Montreal. Enjoying a close proximity to the St. Lawrence River, this former warehouse lay abandoned until 1995 when it was acquired and transformed into the jewel it is today. Now, this restored Old Montreal landmark offers an optimal location, refined accommodations and prize-winning French cuisine at the intimate Les Remparts.

From check-in to checkout, the entire staff was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel truly celebrated. The highlight was a thoughtful anniversary gift they surprised us with, which was such a meaningful and unexpected touch. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and perfectly located for exploring the area, and it was always a pleasure to come back to after a day out. Had to treat ourselves to the French toast while in bed, it makes it that much more delicious and was a 10/10! This stay felt special in every way, and we would absolutely return.

It is a fun place best enjoyed with your partner, Calm atmosphere with chill vibes. Not too expensive. The rooms are nice and clean. Quiet and easy to talk. And central location too!

Our stay at Auberge Du Vieux Port was an absolute delight from beginning to end. The hotel has that rare mix of warmth, charm, and understated luxury that makes you feel special the moment you walk in. Everything felt beautifully curate: from the rich character of the property to the elegant atmosphere and the comfort of the room. What we loved most was how effortlessly the hotel combines historic beauty with a refined, intimate feel. The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Old Montreal, which made every stroll feel like part of the experience. Traveling with family, we appreciated not only how beautiful the hotel is, but also how welcoming and comfortable it felt throughout our stay. There was a sense of care in every detail, and it turned what could have been just a hotel stay into a memorable part of our trip. We truly loved it here and would absolutely return. Auberge Du Vieux Port will be one of the places we remember most fondly from Montreal.

In November, 2004, we stayed in Montreal at the Auberge du Vieux Port in Old Montreal. The inn is right on the St. Lawrence in a beautifully restored building in a charming section of the city. Staff were accommodating, friendly and informative in helping us make dining and sightseeing plans. We would highly recommend a visit to the Auberge du Vieux Port!
