Situated in an historic 1882 building, Auberge du Vieux-Port boasts an illustrious past intrinsically linked to that of modern-day Montreal. Enjoying a close proximity to the St. Lawrence River, this former warehouse lay abandoned until 1995 when it was acquired and transformed into the jewel it is today. Now, this restored Old Montreal landmark offers an optimal location, refined accommodations and prize-winning French cuisine at the intimate Les Remparts.

The location of this boutique hotel is perfect to explore Montreal. It felt like we were in Paris. Our experience was great both in the hotel and in the restaurant. A special thank you to Bleze for his assistance, he went way beyond what was required in assisting us. The team in both the hotel and the restaurant were exceptionally friendly and helpful at all times. We cannot wait to again visit Montreal and this friendly, helpful and delightful establishment.

My wife and I visited Auberge du Vieux-Port for our 5th anniversary, seeking a 'reset' from the demands of work and school, and our experience was absolute perfection. The location in the heart of Old Montreal is unbeatable, putting us steps away from local attractions. A special thank you to Sebastien and the team at both the hotel and the restaurant; they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was restful and memorable. From day one, we were greeted with warm smiles and beautiful French hospitality. The restaurant provided fantastic food with impeccable service. We were so impressed that we are already planning a return visit and hope to stay in one of the Lofts next time to experience another side of the Gray Collection family. We cannot wait to be back!

This is a new hotel in a very old building, tastefully decorated and well renovated. Room is spacious and everything is well put. The fireplace in the reception area is charming. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. It is right in the center of old Montreal as well. We walked everywhere and had a wonderful stay.

In November, 2004, we stayed in Montreal at the Auberge du Vieux Port in Old Montreal. The inn is right on the St. Lawrence in a beautifully restored building in a charming section of the city. Staff were accommodating, friendly and informative in helping us make dining and sightseeing plans. We would highly recommend a visit to the Auberge du Vieux Port!
