The hotel is fantastic! From our bedroom, gorgeous breakfast and very helpful staff in the restaurant, at reception, Mo at the front door and Nicholas the manager, all made for a great stay! The hotel is well placed for visiting the old town. Thank you for such a great time!!

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Hotel Place D’Armes for the final night of our vacation, and the only negative we can think of is that we wish we had spent more of our trip here. We were originally booked at Hotel Nelligan, but it was temporarily closed for renovations during the date of our stay, so we were relocated to their sister property. The entire process was handled incredibly professionally. Gabriel, the Director of Rooms at Nelligan, made sure we were warmly welcomed and well taken care of at Place D’Armes. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. Alejandra, the Director of Rooms at Place D’Armes, is nothing short of amazing - THANK YOU so much for everything! We were greeted very warmly, had a thoughtful surprise waiting in our room, and our suite had also been upgraded, which made the stay even more top notch. The staff throughout the hotel were very welcoming and attentive. The suite itself was great - spacious, well-appointed, with excellent amenities and a really comfortable bed. The location is also perfect for exploring Old Montreal. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are already looking forward to staying here again on our next trip. Do yourself a favour and stay here!!

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Place d'Armes over our December holiday and had an incredible experience. The hotel has a beautifully elevated boutique charm and the staff are so friendly. Alejandra, Ricardo, and Ali in particular were so engaging, accommodating, and personable. They were so fun and attentive to my young son, making the stay even more memorable for him and us. Hotel Place d'Armes provided the personable touch often missing in most hotels. We had a fantastic room and enjoyed the on-site restaurant and common areas which were elegantly decorated for Christmas. It was wonderful being right across the street from the Notre-Dame Basilica and within walking distance to so many great dining experiences. Wish I was still on vacation there.

They provided the utmost hospitality from the personal attention to impeccable service as well as their hotel team members. Their genuine passion to make your experience fabulous was undeniable. Hotel Place d'Armes advertises enticing amenities and services and they don't disappoint. I felt pampered with the turn down service along with the ambiance and coziness of the in-room electric fireplace. I fell in love with the hotel diffuser aroma, Odyssey's Ville de Quebec, which my daughter gifted me as a memento from our trip. This historic hotel is centrally located with walkability to Old Port, restaurants, the metro, and the beautiful Notre-Dame Basilica. Alejandra and Ricardo were always welcoming, engaging, and efficient in their stellar recommendations. It's no wonder Hotel Place d'Armes is the recipient of the Michelin Key 2024 & 2025 as well as Reader's Choice Awards. Would love to return in the future for a summer visit.

We stayed at Hôtel Place d’Armes as a family and had such a wonderful experience. We usually don’t take the time to write reviews, but this stay truly deserved one. We booked one room, and the hotel added an extra bed for our child, which made everything very comfortable and easy for us. The room even had a fireplace, which made it feel extra cozy after a day exploring Old Montréal. It was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. We had breakfast at Brasserie 701 and loved it. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and they kindly seated us at a corner table, which made the experience feel more private and relaxed for our family. The front desk also arranged a late check-out for us, which was incredibly helpful and very appreciated when traveling with children. Overall, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made our family trip feel smooth and stress-free. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to families visiting Montréal.
