Best Emergency Stay ever

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 11 hours ago

This was an emergency stay for us because our Airbnb host didn't leave a key for us and we were unable to get in. We didn't plan to spend an extra $350+ BUT when we come back, we will be staying here. Definitely the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in!

Excellent stay!

Wonderful stay for a special birthday trip! We enjoyed our 4 night stay in Apartment St Paul, and appreciated that the hotel was able to meet all our requests (top floor, balcony, soaking tub), we even had an electric fireplace for atmosphere. The location is outstanding, the room well appointed, and staff very friendly. Bonus points for real milk in the fridge for our nespresso coffee! The only knocks were the painfully slow WiFi (which also made the TV interface frustrating), and the scale of the sofa in our suite was a bit small for us (we are tall—husband over 6 feet, me almost). Also, there is hardly anywhere to unpack clothes—just very small closet/cubby. I pack in cubes, so just took those out of the suitcase and used them like a dresser. Due to the historic nature of the building, there were some odd spaces where a dresser or side chair could have been helpful. But that is all relatively minor stuff. We would certainly stay there again and recommend it enthusiastically!

Not bad, could be better

Rooms could use a refresh. There’s no shower door so it flooded the bathroom and entry way every time someone took a shower. Seems like they should add a door to the shower. Reception was great, informative and friendly. Housekeeping was less great, there were little flies in the bathroom that we had to kill every day. Plus, one day they left a rag and extra pillowcase in our room but didn’t leave enough towels.

We went over the July 4 holiday and stayed at Le Saint-Sulpice Hotel in Montreal, which was a great luxury suites hotel. Everything was easy on the booking end and the package was as good or better than stated.

I stayed at Le Saint-Sulpice in Montreal from the 1st to the 4th of November, 2004, and I absolutely loved it and am hoping to go back in the summer. So, without a doubt my experience was a very happy one. Thank You.
