My wife and our 3 children + infant just stopped in for an overnight mid-journey from Toronto to PEI and we were so impressed by the hotel and the staff. The hotel is situated perfectly in a quiet(er) part of old Montreal, just steps down from Notre Dame, and up from the waterfront patios, restaurants, and Science Center. We were just a short stroll to Cirque de Soleil, La Grande Roue de Montreal (massive ferris wheel with a fantastic view of the city) and the promenade. The staff were delightful, helpful, and unimposing. Sometimes with a large family, some help isn't actually help, and this crew knew when to jump in and when to let us sort ourselves. Shoutout to Abou who (patiently) helped us unload, Jeremie who checked us in and offered many suggestions for dining and sightseeing, Paolo who ran my keys down to the oversized lot when I forget them in my backpack, and Roger for organizing such a fabulous concierge crew!

This hotel didn’t quite live up to the expectations we had when booking. We were warned about construction nearby but my goodness it was far worse than we’d anticipated. We arrived early evening to an unsmiling check in, told that the bar and restaurant were both closed due to a conference! Just what we needed! Didn’t even offer to take our bags up! Room was quite large with a kitchenette but the bedroom was SO dark! Couldn’t see to even unpack our things. Bathroom good but if you have had knee or hip replacement it is rather scary! Bath is very deep and it is very difficult to climb in and out due to a fixed shower screen. I could t even reach the taps! Anyway, it was management - just. Good sofa to relax in and to in lounge and bedroom. Due to our ‘frosty’ welcome we didn’t even bother with the bar or restaurant - only saw 2 people in it during our 3 day stay. Oh dear, we had looked forward to staying here but we didn’t take to it unlike the 3 other hotels we have stayed in during our time in Canada. Perhaps a warmer welcome may well have helped! I would add I do try to be fair in my reviews.

A very nice hotel in an outstanding location. We really appreciated the later breakfast hours and late check-out. This was great for us non-morning people. We will definitely stay here again.

We went over the July 4 holiday and stayed at Le Saint-Sulpice Hotel in Montreal, which was a great luxury suites hotel. Everything was easy on the booking end and the package was as good or better than stated.

I stayed at Le Saint-Sulpice in Montreal from the 1st to the 4th of November, 2004, and I absolutely loved it and am hoping to go back in the summer. So, without a doubt my experience was a very happy one. Thank You.
