Efficient check in. Pre communication was superb. Personal touch by naming us each time we passed reception. Spotless room and great size. The room was well equipped. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. There was a very spacious walk in shower and bath tub. Typical of Ritz Carlton luxury. Breakfast was served in the restaurant on the rez de chaussee. Excellent service and choice of buffet or a la carte. Plenty of choice. A superb luxury stay for the connoisseur traveller.

We had a lovely three night stay at the Ritz Carlton. We'd booked via AMEX Fine Hotels, providing extra benefits which we always appreciate. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by Louise and were soon in our suite which was delightful. We usually like to book a suite and this one was one of the best ones we've stayed in in his recent times. The bedroom was luxurious and the living room was large and provided plenty of space to stretch out. Breakfast was served each morning in Maison Boulud, the service for which was a little mixed during our 2 visits there. The chef cooked me a magnificent omelette having made the wonderful suggestion of only cooking it 'medium' which added to the fluffiness of the egg. I wish I had got her name as her manner and warmth were exemplary and I was sad to not have breakfast the next day having to leave very early for the airport. We had a lovely meal one night in the bar but prior to that during the afternoon we'd stopped into it to enjoy a cocktail. Our mixologist, Robin (From memory?), once again demonstrated a wonderful generous spirit. He made us separate cocktails, my wife having 'Light on the Ritz' and I the chai latte espresso martini. Wow, both were innovative and delicious, so much so we had a second. My wife also had a lovely experience having a bath in our room. Housekeeping arrives with a tray of salts and oils, which she adored so much she had a second bath the following night. We loved our stay and would happily recommend the hotel to people visiting Montreal. It's well positioned and the staff in the most were delightful, demonstrating a familial service quality that my wife and I appreciate.

The hotel is an island of luxury with old world charm mixed with modern touches. The customer service was impressive. Max the concierge deserves a special mention. He went above and beyond to make our visit pleasant and to communicate with us about each reservation and arraignment. The food was suburb and only surpassed by the service. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My family stayed here for 3 nights after a ski trip to Mt. Tremblant. From the moment we pulled up to the curb with our packed car (my 85 year old mother, my dog, my husband, my children and all of our gear), we felt welcomed and at home. Carl, the doorman immediately greeted us and charmed my mother by helping her out of the car into the lobby. He remained a friendly face throughout our stay and we were always happy to see him and chat with him. He was always smiling and friendly. Alina at the front desk helped us settle into our adjoining rooms and arranged a cake for my mother's birthday. She greeted us with cheer and was always happy to help. When we left, Charles, the doorman patiently helped us load our many bags into the car and offered pleasant conversation. Their service, kindness and hospitality were top notch and they made our stay memorable. The rooms were clean, well appointed, large and very comfortable. The bathrooms felt luxurious after our ski trip. The kids didn't want to leave the hotel to see Montreal. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one day.
