The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal

This is a beautiful old hotel in a great downtown location. Our room was large, immaculate and very well appointed. There was a desk, a couch and chair. The WiFi signal was strong and there were many outlets. Service is remarkably consistent and excellent at this Ritz-Carlton. This is the place to stay in Montreal.

The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive, and they made us feel at home throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and very well maintained. Everything was spotless, and we really appreciated the attention to detail. Everyone we met was kind, professional, and always happy to help. Their genuine friendliness and exceptional service made our experience feel very special. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return to The Ritz-Carlton Montreal on our next visit. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with truly outstanding service in Montreal.

Highly impressed with the level of service and professionalism. Helpful front desk, especially the exceptional desk manager. Valets are friendly and always prompt. Bellman Ricardo is one of a kind. And a room attendant appropriately named Blessing is a treasure. This is a special place.

The RC Montreal is frequently named the best Ritz-Carlton in North America, and after staying there I believe this to be true. It is an elegant, beautiful, hospitable property. I arrived early in the morning and was able to check into an upgraded junior suite before 11AM. I appreciated the warm service even prior to check-in. The day before I received a lovely welcome call from the front desk to touch base for my stay. I arrived at 9:45AM before the room was ready, but was still provided water and a temporary key to access the pool and spa while I waited. When the room became available, I received the most incredible welcome tour from the bellman, Ricardo, who is among the friendliest hotel staff I have ever encountered. Give this man all the raises, accolades, and plaudits for his amazing service: he IS the best!!! The room was lovely. Unfortunately had no view, but everything about the interior was impeccable, modern, and spacious that I didn't care. The downstairs lobby and Palm Court restaurant were beautiful. My only complaint is the Quattro Formaggi pizza was overcooked and burnt on part of the crust, and the drinks just adequate, but as far as the actual hotel the stay couldn't have been better. I look forward to coming back!

My friends René, Dany and I recently celebrated my 51st birthday during your Afternoon Tea experience at The Palm Court of The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal. We wanted to take a moment to recognize the exceptional service we received throughout our visit. Ariane welcomed us with remarkable grace, patience and warmth. We were probably a little overexcited at first—moving chairs around, eager to settle in and impatient to discover the menu. With genuine kindness and effortless professionalism, she gently guided us into the refined rhythm of the Ritz-Carlton experience, never making us feel uncomfortable, only welcomed. Toward the end of our visit, we had the pleasure of speaking with her about her background in communications and event production. It became clear that excellence in hospitality comes naturally to her, and she represents your establishment beautifully. We would also like to recognize Hugues, whose professionalism stood out when I accidentally spilled my signature Espresso Martini and broke the glass. He responded immediately with calm efficiency and discretion, while continuing to present each course with impeccable precision. Our thanks also go to Dylan, who came over to ensure everything was alright, reassured us with genuine care, and discreetly restored the table so we could simply continue enjoying the afternoon. To complete the adventure, I even forgot my iPhone when leaving the hotel. When we called, your team had already attempted to reach us using the reservation phone number. Upon returning, we were greeted with the same warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality. What impressed us most was not only the quality of the tea, the food or the beautiful surroundings, but the feeling that every member of your team genuinely cared about creating an exceptional experience. The Ritz-Carlton’s reputation is built on a remarkable heritage, but it is people like Ariane, Hugues, Dylan and the entire team who continue to bring that legacy to life every day.
