Grand Hotel du Lac

Our Family stayed at Grand Hotel du lac and had a lovely time. The hotel was beautiful, the location was excellent and the staff were truly the exceptional. Patrick made our morning breakfasts a memorable and special experience. His genuine kindness was felt deeply. The reception staff were also very helpful in providing wonderful tips and recommendations for things to do, places to eat and what transportation was best. We had a wonderful experience overall!

The manager told me Christmas is just a business for him, as Easter. With a smile. He is so fake. I was hurted because there is decoration about it, we went to the church in town, but in reality everything is a simulation in this hotel. After that, service became strange. Regarding the spa, forget about luxe experience. Almost useless. This hotel is banal for this category. Prices aren't honest. Guys, you can have so much better in other places for 2. I have to feedback it. Respect you.

This is a beautiful hotel. We stayed in a junior suite with balcony for our 42nd wedding anniversary. The room, the hotel, Julian and Yulia at reception, everything was perfection.. We arrived early in the morning after our flight and they graciously stowed our bags so that we could go explore until the room was ready. Dont hesitate to book this hotel. It is gorgeous, an histore building from 1874, charming, elegant, impeccable, very clean with warm reception. It was a lovely start to our anniversary trip. I can't say enough good things about it. Everything was 5 star

You cannot go wrong when staying at a 5 star hotel under the Relias & Chateau name. Our four night stay was amazing with excellent service. Our view room was upgraded to one with a balcony which we enjoyed very much. Waking up to see the view was a delight. We came to Vevey especially to visit the UNESCO Lavaux wine region. We have discovered in past visits to Switzerland they have amazing wines. The Grand Hotel Du Lac lobby has amazing fresh flowers and elegant sitting lounges as well as an outdoor patio. The hotel provided lots of bottled and boxed Henniez water for your day outings and added little chocolates in the evening. The buffet breakfasts with choice of hot entrees are plentiful and of high quality. We also enjoyed a fabulous dinner in the Veranda room. The location is great right by the water, we took a taxi from train station but after getting familiar we could easily walk to the train station ( about 15 min) for day outings. Also, the hotel provides a pass (download to your phone) where the local buses were free and offer half price for the admission to the Chillion Castle. The local 201 bus is right around the hotel which we took to visit Montreux and castle. There is a public laundry mat about 2 blocks away which we needed after traveling through France earlier. We had an amazing stay. Thank you.
