Nestled in the heart of Montreux Riviera and the Lavaux wine region the hotel offers a superb location where charm and elegance are blended with modern day comforts. The Hôtel du Lac, a Relais & Châteaux property, holds its arrogance and legendary charisma, but also offers a gym, a Spa and all the necessities for today’s mistreated or merely fatigued. A tradition of hospitality, individualized service and refined cuisine which excell today. Entirely renovated by Pierre-Yves Rochon the hotel shines like a jewel on the shores of Lake Geneva. Let yourself be seduced by our restaurant "Les Saisons" awarded with a Michelin Star.

I stayed with my daughter in this wonderful hotel right in front of the lake. The hotel is beautiful. The service is excellent, everybody makes you feel welcome. Our room was beautiful. It was filled with little details, like a plug converter in case you didn’t bring your own. Bottle water and chocolates every night.

Already filled a complaint with realis chateaux. Overall bad service during dinner and breakfast. Hotel is gorgeous. In a perfect location. Great rooms, with exception of pillows (too soft). Staff overall is very polite, unlike the waiters I appointed in my complaint. Hope they fix this personel issue.

Exquisitely decorated hotel, our room faced the lake with a tiny balcony- fabulous view! Pool area is nice and there are 3 restaurants open in summer. Food was good but beware its 9 CHF for a cup of tea which is steep even for Switzerland. Car parking is 40CHF a day, again more than other 5* hotels. This is not a cheap stay but it is a special hotel. My only gripe is the music from Buddha bar when it opens early afternoon is very intrusive at the pool and they should really turn it right down until the evening when no one is at the pool.

My BF made me a surprise stay. First time in a 5 stars hotel. But it was a bit ruined. I found hair from a previous client in bathroom. One electric power point didn't work well. I have to charge my phone on TV with USB plug, too long. Service is too slow. Employees have dark rings under their eyes. Not enough staff despite high prices. Spa is poor. Too complicated to park.

First time in Vevey...what a dreamlike small town on the shores of Lake Geneva. The hotel is perfectly located, quiet and away from the main part of the promenade yet incredibly accessible. Felt very much like a Relais & Chateaux property - intimate, charming, fun spaces to be able to explore. Room was nicely appointed and offered a beautiful view of the grounds and the lake. However, the star of the property was Leila - she was incredibly responsive in setting up reservations, checking in to see if I had enjoyed everything and remembered my itinerary. Please send her my thanks!
