The best hotel on the Swiss and Italian Lakes
The best hotel we stayed at, during our Grand Tour around the Lakes of Italy and Switzerland. Combining traditional architecture with a modern interior twist and service levels which exceed the norm for 5 stars. The tranquility and attention to detail and service is fabulous. We couldn’t recommend this enough

Stunning Hotel
This is a magnificent hotel! I loved the stunning decor and the lovely garden with white wicker chairs surrounded by trees (an area for drinks and snacks). They also have a fun section outside for cocktails with great music. We ate dinner at the hotel twice, because the food was delicious. The location of the hotel is perfect. When you step out the back of the hotel, there is a path. that runs along the lake, surrounded by mountains. We enjoyed walking along this path. I highly recommend this hotel. It is absolutely beautiful...pure class!

Clearly five star, but…
No doubt a five star experience except for the poor soundproofing due to this being a historic building. If you can live with this, it‘s perfection.

Marketing 3 stars hotel not 5.
Everything lack. Lack of space in spa-parking-lobby-restaurants-terrace-bathroom, just one lift you wait, lack of staff skills, of cleaning, no pool inside spa. Not enough balcony. Lack of luxury- choice- tranquillity. Cheap services but expensive prices not justified. It's not an unique experience. We didn't expect perfection or zany dw;rf tossing. But at least excellence.

A Wonderful Family Getaway
Our Family stayed at Grand Hotel du lac and had a lovely time. The hotel was beautiful, the location was excellent and the staff were truly the exceptional. Patrick made our morning breakfasts a memorable and special experience. His genuine kindness was felt deeply. The reception staff were also very helpful in providing wonderful tips and recommendations for things to do, places to eat and what transportation was best. We had a wonderful experience overall!
