This trip was truly unforgettable. Although our departure was delayed due to a health issue, the reception center staff provided thoughtful support and helped us resolve everything smoothly. We are especially grateful to Mohamed Shaahid—his calm professionalism and steadfast support made the experience not only comfortable, but truly memorable. We also deeply appreciate the warm and friendly team at The Market—Ahmed Sofwan, Ahmed Nafitey, and Atta—for their generous hospitality. The housekeeping staff were exceptionally attentive throughout our stay, ensuring that every detail was taken care of with care and precision. And last but equally important,my heartfelt thanks go to my personal butler, Nizam, whose attentiveness and dedication have meant so much to me.

We just returned from Dusit Thani and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Our butler, Naanu, was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. At the kids club, Pabi and Kabi were absolute stars, our children adored them and couldn’t wait to go back every day. Dining at Dusit Thani was an experience in itself. The staff at The Market, Sea Grill, and Benjarong restaurants were always so friendly, attentive, and eager to make every meal special. The food was exceptional, Benjarong in particular felt like dining on cloud nine. And I have to give a special mention to the pastry chef, who completely outdid themselves; every dessert was a masterpiece. The spa was another highlight. Khun Tam, the spa manager, was so welcoming and the massage was simply out of this world, truly one of the best I’ve ever had. The resort itself felt like home, or even like family. Our villa was gorgeous, with a private pool that the kids absolutely loved. Everything was so comfortable, we never wanted to leave. Having bicycles for our entire stay made exploring the island even more enjoyable, letting us take in the beauty of nature at our own pace. Dusit Thani isn’t just a resort, it’s an experience. Warm, welcoming, and unforgettable. We can’t wait to return.

Our stay at Dusit Thani Maldives was truly unforgettable! I’ve been to the Maldives 12 times, and I can honestly say this was one of the most special trips we’ve had. We absolutely loved our villa, it was spacious, beautifully designed, and kept spotless. Housekeeping made sure it was perfect at all times, cleaning it twice a day with such attention to detail. The food at the resort was fantastic as well, with so many delicious options to enjoy every day. One of the highlights of my trip was going on two amazing dives. I had the chance to see majestic mantas, sharks, and so many other sea creatures that made the experience magical. The staff really made this vacation stand out. Everyone was kind, professional, and always ready to help. A very special thank you to Gabey at the Market Restaurant for the warm hospitality, to Saif from housekeeping for keeping our villa flawless, and most of all to Naan, our butler, who was simply outstanding. Naan went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was perfect in every way, he truly made the entire experience seamless and memorable. I had a wonderful experience at Dusit Thani Maldives , everything was very well catered by the staffs. Biggest shoutout to our butler Muhey! I had many request but he NEVER once disappoint us! He met all our needs and went beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly . Had many life time experiences such as snorkelling with Manta rays , whale shark and even turtles! Truly mesmerising to see these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat! The Dive instructor was very patient with us because we do not have any diving experience. She made sure of our safety and also help us get lots of beautiful pictures and videos! Food there was amazing too! Restaurant staffs were very polite and accommodating! Lastly Dusit Thani Maldives experience will be held deeply in my heart because it’s where I did my proposal to my other half , everything was very well planned by Muhey and team. The setting and ambience were perfect. It shows how much Dusit Thani Maldives stand out in terms of effort and creativity! I highly recommend future travellers to choose Dusit Thani Maldives as their resort. It’s definitely worth it! We recently spent 6 nights at Dusit Thani Maldives to celebrate my birthday with my wife Arrival & Lounge Experience Since we arrived in Malé late at night, we stayed overnight in Hulhumalé before heading to the airport early the next morning. Our call time was 7am for the 10am seaplane. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and we were escorted to the Dusit Thani lounge at Malé Airport. The lounge was stylish and very comfortable, and I especially appreciated that the check-in process was completed there. This meant that as soon as we landed at the island, we could immediately start enjoying our holiday. The only area for improvement was the lack of vegan food options in the lounge. Aside from some nuts, there wasn’t much available. It would be great if Dusit Thani could add simple plant-based items such as non-dairy milk or bread without eggs or dairy. Seaplane Transfer Our seaplane was filled with fellow Dusit Thani guests, and the resort was conveniently the first stop. The flight, as always in the Maldives, was absolutely picturesque. Villa & Butler Service Upon arrival, our butler Yasir greeted us warmly, gave us a tour of the island, and escorted us to our villa. Yasir was outstanding throughout our stay – he organized everything perfectly and really made our holiday extra special. We stayed in a Beach Villa, which was ideal for snorkeling. Dusit Thani’s house reef is still stunning, with abundant marine life. Out of all the Maldives resorts we’ve visited (including six different properties), I would rank the reef here just behind W Maldives and Park Hyatt Maldives. We snorkeled every day and often encountered their resident turtle and reef shark. Manta Ray Excursion at Hanifaru Bay One of the main reasons we chose Dusit Thani was its close proximity to Hanifaru Bay, world-famous for manta ray snorkeling. The bay is only a 10-minute speedboat ride from the resort. We joined the “Manta on Call” excursion four times – while we only saw mantas once, it was still a breathtaking and unforgettable experience. Dining & Vegan Options Both my wife and I are vegan, and we were very well taken care of. At breakfast, Sofwan and Mai looked after us daily, while Chef Kumar prepared delicious vegan dishes for us. We really appreciate their effort. The buffet could still expand its vegan choices, but the service made up for it. A nice touch was the complimentary wine and sparkling wine offered at breakfast. Our favorite restaurant on the island was Sala Bar & Restaurant, where we dined most evenings. The atmosphere was intimate and relaxing, and Amilia made every dinner feel special. The food was excellent – we went through most of the menu during our six nights! For our next visit, we hope to see a slightly larger menu, but overall the dining experience was outstanding. We also enjoyed Benjarong which also had a seperate vegan menu. Overall Experience Having stayed at six different Maldives resorts, I can confidently say that Dusit Thani Maldives offers the best value for money among them. The combination of a beautiful reef, easy access to Hanifaru Bay for manta encounters, warm hospitality, and excellent service made our stay truly unforgettable. We would definitely return and highly recommend Dusit Thani Maldives to couples, snorkelers, and anyone looking for a special island getaway.
