Six Senses Kaplankaya

Honestly the experience was so much more than expected - particularly on the service levels. The hotel is able to perfectly cater to honeymoon couples as well as young families - a very hard balance to strike! Beautiful hotel, amazing food and atmosphere in restaurants and top service levels.

We visited the hotel for our honeymoon and were very excited. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the clients services staff are incredible and highly responsive. The waiter staff though, can be very slow, often food coming before you’ve even being served drinks and waiting at least 20 mins for drinks. Having to ask for bread with your meal, or chase multiple times for items to be delivered. They do take on feedback very directly and quickly though which is great to see, and it more feels like teething issues than anything. However, when you’re paying very high prices such as €16!!! For a matcha, it seems like there should be much better service. The prices of the food and drinks is incredibly high/ridiculous. A can of coke, €10, a bottle of water at meals €8 despite being free around the hotel, and portion of fries being €16. When staying in a nice hotel I expect high prices but it feels like it’s leaning on ridiculous. Saying that, everything in the hotel comes at a cost. Padel - €10 for a racket per person. Padel boarding I was shocked to find cost €25 per person for 30 minutes. Normally at a 5* hotel you expect non moterised water sports to be included so that was pretty disappointing to find out. The spa facilities are great although the women’s sauna and steam were quite cold. But incredible treatments on offer. There are also a lot of families with children which visit the hotel, and the staff are amazing with them. It would be nice if there was an adult only beach or pool area. There are supposedly 4 beaches but 1 appears to be closed now. There is a family beach but most of the kids turn up on the normal beach. I would returns to the hotel but might look around before booking.

Absolutely perfect experience. The GEM team (Taha and Bushra) were impeccable, going above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Truly relaxing, world class service.

What’s not to love about the Six Senses in Kaplankaya. From the moment you arrive the staff do everything in their power to make your stay as pleasant as possible and to accommodate your every wish. The service, rooms, food quality and the facilities are all exceptional. The farm to table, sustainability ethos and attention to detail is evident throughout the resort. We felt the sincerity in dealing with all the restaurant, beach and spa attendants but special mention to James, Mustafa, Ahmet, Emel, Taha & Bushra who all went above and beyond. A stay at Six Senses Kaplankaya is a luxury 5 star experience in every sense. We can’t wait to visit again.

I’ve been fortunate enough to travel widely and stay in some truly remarkable hotels around the world, but Six Senses Kaplankaya has, without question, set a new benchmark. We arrived knowing what a Six Senses property is like, having experienced this near Jaipur, so our expectations were already high — yet somehow, this resort managed to exceed them in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, the team made our stay feel effortless. A special thank‑you goes to our two GEMs, Hazal and Melis, who looked after us throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and their warmth and attention made a huge difference to our experience. I’d also like to thank Baha, who took wonderful care of us at the family beach, and Önür, the manager at the beachside kebab restaurant, who made every visit feel personal and memorable. In truth, every single member of the team contributed to what became an unforgettable stay. My wife has allergies post COVID, and the hotel could not do enough to ensure she got everything she needed, with those challeneges met. The resort itself is stunning — beautifully designed, immaculately maintained, and thoughtfully considered in every detail. Whether it was the wine tasting, the spa treatments, or even learning how to make natural mosquito repellent, every activity felt curated with intention and delivered with genuine passion. It’s rare to find a place where every element feels so harmoniously aligned. If I had one gentle observation, it would be this: Six Senses Kaplankaya is a serene, luxury wellness resort, and for the most part it delivers that perfectly. However, during our stay there were moments when the tranquillity was disrupted by families with young children. The resort is clear that it is family‑friendly, and that’s absolutely fine — it’s simply something guests seeking a completely peaceful, adults‑oriented environment may want to be aware of when choosing dates or areas of the resort. That said, this is not a criticism of the resort or its team, who were exceptional throughout. It’s simply a note for fellow travellers who value absolute quiet. Overall, Six Senses Kaplankaya is one of the most extraordinary places I’ve ever stayed. The combination of world‑class service, breathtaking surroundings, and genuine warmth from the team made it truly special. I would return in a heartbeat.
