Six Senses Kaplankaya is nestled in the breathtaking natural beauty of Bodrum’s northern Aegean coastline. Undulating hills clad in evergreens, wild olives and cypresses amplify the invitation extended by the warm breeze and the gently lapping waves of the turquoise sea. Offering a truly unique mosaic of architecture, history and art, the resort is within easy reach of many archeological sites including two of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

We have just come back from a weeks stay at this resort and it did not disappoint. It was stunning. The facilities were amazing, as was the food. We had a sea view room which was of a very high standard and was kept immaculate during our stay. The staff here are friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. A shout out to Onder who looked after us at the beach he really went above and beyond and made our stay extra special. An exceptional member of staff. The beaches and water are kept pristine. Great choice of restaurants/food and the gym & spa are probably the best we have experienced. Rashim the manager at reception also went out of his way to look after us another great member of staff. Everything about this resort is 5 stars and there was not a single thing we could fault. We will definitely return!

From before the moment we arrived our stay with six senses was seamless, personalised and a complete dream. The concierge team take the time to message before arrival to ensure any needs are met, they are also available throughout your entire stay and are always helpful. The property itself is breath taking. When booking a six senses hotel, you can always guarantee a beautiful venue, however this one was just that little bit more special. Incredible views, beautiful beaches and never once felt busy or crowded anywhere. The staff are incredible - everyone is so friendly and willing to help and can almost read your mind and offer things before you even know you need them. We travelled with our 10 month old baby and the staff went above and beyond to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible for us and for her. A particular shout out to Taha and Bushra for taking excellent care of us and to Ahmet at breakfast who was so attentive, especially to our baby. The room was beautiful, spacious, thoughtfully designed and cleaning and turndown was done efficiently and quickly as we requested it. There is an extensive array of amenities. Perhaps the only downside is the food options and prices for dinner, expect to pay well above €100 for a mid tier meal for 2. We will definitely return to this hotel again and it embodies the ethos of the six senses hotel brand. We left feeling refreshed and relaxed and enjoyed every second of this stay. Cannot recommend more

Our stay at Six Senses Kaplankaya was truly unforgettable. Set along Bodrum's beautiful Aegean coastline, the resort offers a perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and exceptional hospitality. We stayed with our daughter so had two rooms, our daughters room was a good size and was on the same floor as ours. Our room was a spacious suite, beautifully designed, with its own private pool and an incredible dressing area that added an extra touch of luxury. The attention to detail throughout the accommodation was outstanding. The general manager kindly gifted us a bottle of locally produced olive oil, which was a thoughtful gesture reflecting the region's abundance of olive trees and local traditions. During our stay, I unfortunately got sunburnt, but a lovely staff member named Yare went above and beyond to help. She cared for me and provided me with sheer butter to help with my recovery, which was greatly appreciated. All the staff really looked after us and when we left they came to say good bye- a lovely touch at te end of our holiday My husband thoroughly enjoyed the tennis facilities, while I spent time relaxing on the beautiful private beach and spa. The sunbeds were extremely comfortable, and the soft golden sand made it the perfect place to unwind. The spa has a good selection of saunas pools etc. The dining options were excellent, with a choice of three restaurants offering delicious food and beautiful settings. Combined with the breathtaking scenery and warm hospitality, every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend Six Senses Kaplankaya and we will defintely be returning.

We booked as a family for May 2026. Unfortunately our daughter was seriously taken ill and hospitalised. We cancelled on the 25th April because of her condition, well within the agreed time for a full refund. This was granted on the 26th April saying it would take 10 - 14 days for the refund. To date no refund only excuses. One month later no refund has been granted. No reasons given for the delay. Is the Company in financial trouble and cannot refund? Do they just not care that we would have rebooked once my daughter is well but would not now. Are they too busy to show customer care?

Six Senses Kaplankaya is a stunning hotel with fantastic service and always delivers a relaxing break. Having returned after staying in June 2025, we found the hotel has maintained its excellent standards and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room on the 5th floor had wonderful sea views and was spacious and comfortable. We could see some ongoing construction from our bed and it was a shame the aspect was not reversed as the view of the sea from the bathroom was amazing. However, it has all the amenities and is in keeping with the rest of this beautiful property. The grounds are stunning and we enjoyed long walks and time on the beach. We felt that the yoga pavilion, despite being probably the most beautiful spot on the property was underutilised in the activities schedule as no free classes took place there during our 4 night stay. In addition, it was a shame the bar (with the best sunset views) was closed. The main beach was a great spot and always quiet in the mornings but it was a shame they closed it to guests to set up for the harvest retreat that is now taking place. We were directed to other beaches for the day but this did feel a little odd to have the main beach cordoned off. Also, it seems a bit silly that there is a charge for non motorised water sports considering there are no overheads once the equipment has been purchased by the hotel. The food was very tasty and beautifully prepared. Breakfast is a stand out and the selection is extremely varied. The pastries were particularly delicious and the staff were always attentive. Sadly, the prices of the evening meals feel disconnected from reality. There has been a significant inflation since last year and the pricing did not make sense. For example, a salad, a flatbread, a pizza and a water at Anhinga came to approx €126. The same dishes served at Sage and Sea last year (e.g lamb kebab) are now double the price when served at Orta Koy. We enjoyed our meal at Orta Koy as the views of the beach and sea are lovely but we didn’t feel it warranted such an inflation. This was reflected in all the evening meals, and there is no real ability to leave the property to seek alternatives. It has put us off returning, as we struggled to eat for two people for less than €100 (with no alcohol!). The food is good, but definitely not worth these very high prices. Overall, the facilities and service are fantastic and there is no doubt the property and views in the hotel are magnificent. Our only disappointment was the over inflated price of evening meals and the lack of choice of outlets. We were told the food options will increase later in the season in late May and early June so I would advise checking what is going to be open before you book! The staff were charming though and we had a fantastic time.
