Fabulous experience. Great support staff. Was there to primarily use up a free stay. Got an upgrade and the 2 restaurants Celini and China House are both top class.

Horrific experience in a suite on the ground floor with a terrace to the pool where on Friday night the music from what I discovered was a disco in the basement made it impossible to sleep or even think. The hotel reception claimed the noise was from another resident and that security were dealing with the problem. After two hours I went to investigate myself and discovered the public disco/club myself which is in the hotel basement and both large and very popular. At 2am, three hours after the noise started, and having had to go to reception and ask for the manager, I was moved to another room to be able to sleep. Three hours of that noise and being lied to and misled is outrageous for a hotel that claims to deliver 5 star quality. No attempt was made to apologise to me the next day.
