The Taj Mahal Palace

Kunal, Sandeep and team did a great job in arranging a proposal for my fiancee and I. They were thoroughly responsive and helped make our day extra special by going above and beyond in fulfilling multiple requests. They arranged a very pretty flower and candle decoration along with a cake, bouquet, and other desserts. I also hired Taj Memories' photography services for the booking and they did a great job. The photographer, Mr. Zaheer, took great photos, fulfilled our photo requests and even suggested good poses for photographs. The host, Mrs. Pearl was highly responsive and provided a quick and easy transfer process for photographs soon after the booking.

As one would expect, we experienced exceptional service during our stay. The highlight however was the heritage walk of the palace. It was an experience of pure joy, nostalgia and pride to hear Mr.Percy explaining memories and nuances of the hotel one would not usually notice! Thank you team Taj!

This was our very first time visiting Mumbai, and staying at The Taj Mahal Palace made it absolutely unforgettable. The experience was world-class from start to finish. We booked the hotel transfers to and from the airport, and the amazing service began the moment we landed. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted with an incredibly warm and friendly welcome that made us feel special right away. Our room was spectacular, offering an incredible view overlooking the Gateway of India, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From now on, whenever we visit Mumbai, this is the only place we will stay.

After 43 years away from India, I returned to Mumbai for a business trip and stayed at The Taj Mahal Palace from 16 to 21 June. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. Check-in was fabulous. I received a beautiful traditional welcome, which immediately made the arrival feel personal, warm and very special. After such a long absence from India, that moment carried real emotion for me. The hotel itself is spectacular. It has history, elegance and character, but what makes it truly outstanding is the people. The staff were amazing. Every person I met was professional, attentive, warm and genuinely proud to represent the hotel. Breakfast became one of the highlights of every day. The breakfast team was brilliant. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They remembered preferences, anticipated requests and made every morning feel effortless. Their warmth, energy and attention to detail created the perfect start to each day. I was travelling for business, with busy days and important meetings ahead, and the breakfast team made sure I left each morning feeling looked after, relaxed and ready. They were consistently excellent throughout my stay. The room and room service deserve a simple response: wow, wow. The room was beautiful, comfortable and immaculately maintained. Room service was fast, professional and consistently excellent. After long business days across Mumbai, returning to the room felt like returning to complete calm and comfort. I also needed business support during my stay. The hotel does not have a traditional business centre, but this never became a problem. The front-of-house team was perfect. They helped me with everything I needed and supported me no end. Their attitude was simple: find a solution and make it happen. That level of service matters, particularly when you are travelling for work. This was far more than a hotel stay. As someone of Indian heritage returning after 43 years, the entire trip was emotional. The Taj Mahal Palace became part of that experience and helped welcome me back to India in the most memorable way possible. I have stayed in many excellent hotels around the world, but The Taj Mahal Palace is in a category of its own. I will return. I just hope they remember me, because I will certainly never forget them.
