The Taj Mahal Palace

Wow what a hotel. Full or heritage and history and the staff are impeccable. Special shout out to Mustakim Shaikh who looked after us daily at the sea Lounge and treated us like royalty. It’s going to be difficult to stay in another hotel as the customer service here of the highest calibre

Whenever I visit Mumbai, I always make it a point to spend a night at this stunning property. The location, the serene ambiance, and the warm, supportive staff make every stay truly memorable. A special thanks to Mr. Dhruv at the palace front desk for his assistance before and during my stay—his support made everything seamless. Mr. Mayank is always welcoming and attentive, going the extra mile to ensure the experience is exceptional. The entire hotel is designed with impeccable taste, offering a refined and beautiful experience throughout. The staff at the swimming pool and fitness centre are especially cooperative and attentive, adding to the overall comfort and enjoyment. This place never fails to leave me with beautiful memories.

Stayed in many taj properties but this is special! Not just because how old the hotel is or the history or the architecture but truly it has the great sense of hospitality and culture! You ask for anything and hotel will move heaven and earth, to get you what you want (reasonable stuff). We booked a suite and had complementary happy hour. The pool experience, the breakfast (have it at souk vs sea lounge - sea lounge always have queues for breakfast but souk has better view ).. and any dinning experience is incredible. Best is wasabi restaurant at Taj. It’s expensive than the norm but it’s worth it. Except Tat salt, everything comes from Japan. Special mention - Dhruv- helped us to checkin and then later on helped me to find a lost item, Manthan,- seemed less check in.. took us to a lounge to complete check formality ! Jatin from Wasabi and their manager - Insha (I guess I am taking the wrong name but she moved from Taj Delhi)… regardless of you staying at Ritz Carlton, you step in this hotel, and you will know you are In a different league of hotel.

Stayed at other hotels in Mumbai and have to say this one is the best, The staff were friendly especially Sandeep and Dhruv. Lobby areas clean and impressive and the catering facilities and restaurant were excellent. Breakfast choice was superb. The room and furnishings looked Great And The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, so slept well.

I have only heard about the service at the Taj Mahal and it was always my wish to experience it first hand. And Boy, they just exceeded my expectations. Right from the check in to the room allocation as well as the Heritage Tour was class above.
