We had a truly wonderful experience at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, while celebrating our daughter Maher’s second birthday. The entire team went above and beyond to make her special day memorable, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the beautiful room decoration and birthday cake to the airport-style hospitality, one-way pickup, delicious breakfast, dinner, and even complimentary drinking water, everything was absolutely top-class. What impressed us the most was the warmth, courtesy, and attention to detail shown by every team member. A special thank-you to Nilkanti, Trunali, and Mayuri for their exceptional support, warm hospitality, and for surprising Maher with a lovely gift. Their thoughtful gesture made her birthday even more special and added to the joy of our celebration. At Taj, if you ask for one thing, they make you feel as though you deserve two! Their willingness to go the extra mile, the lovely surprise gift for Maher, and all the thoughtful gestures made our celebration truly special. It wasn't just about luxury; it was about the genuine care and hospitality that made us feel valued as guests. The team created beautiful memories for our family that we will cherish for years to come. If you want to experience true luxury, exceptional hospitality, and the legendary warmth of Taj, I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here. A wonderful experience from beginning to end! We stayed at Taj Mahal Palace for 4 days. The service from the front desk to the various activities, the politeness, kindness of customer service staff was par excellence. The various activities planned was unique, along with the history of Taj, proud to have experienced this. Gulmohar suite was princely with elegant decor. He remembers guests, their room no and their choices 3) Rajesh Barik - an excellent butler with meticulous care and understanding of guest needs 4) Sridhar(manager @ Dragon restaurant) - humble, polite and calm. Staying at The Taj Mahal Palace was a dream I wanted to fulfil for my parents’ wedding anniversary, and the entire team made it truly special from beginning to end. From airport pickup in a luxury SUV by Mr. Gurung, to the beautiful welcome with an aarti thali and chandan mala, everything was impeccable. Sapna and the reception team made check-in seamless, and we were warmly welcomed into our beautiful, spotless rooms with chocolates, almonds and cashews. The historic corridors and architecture make the Palace an experience in themselves. Breakfast was exceptional. At Taj, you ask and they make it happen! Jason from the breakfast team was wonderful, and the chefs at the Ballroom and Crystal Room were incredibly accommodating of our dietary requirements. A special mention to Chef Joshi and his team at Shamiana, who were among the kindest people we met. Chef Joshi checked on us every day and personally ensured my father received food prepared according to his dietary restrictions. His sole fish curry with less salt, made from his own recipe, was honestly one of the best fish curries I have ever had, despite me not being a fish person! The Loya team was equally wonderful and prepared a delicious cake for my parents’ anniversary. And if you are in Mumbai, do not miss Golden Dragon! The food was phenomenal. Clinton was incredibly kind, caring and attentive, and made sure we were well looked after. Chef Chaudhary’s recommendations were excellent, and the chicken he prepared for us with less salt was fantastic. The experiences outside the restaurants were equally memorable. Morning yoga with Suyog by the pool was peaceful and calming, and my family thoroughly enjoyed it. Percy’s history tour was another highlight. His knowledge of the Palace and its history made the experience fascinating. The Victorian carriage ride was also an absolute delight. What truly sets Taj apart is its people. Every team member we interacted with was warm, helpful and genuinely committed to making our stay special. Thank you to Mr. Gurung, Sapna, Jason, Chef Joshi and his team, Clinton, Chef Chaudhary, Suyog, Percy, the Loya team, the reception and breakfast teams, Golden Dragon, and the entire Taj family. I came here wanting to create a beautiful anniversary memory for my parents. The Taj Mahal Palace gave us memories we will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you for making our stay truly impeccable.

We had a wonderful stay at Taj to celebrate my father’s 65th birthday, and the entire experience was truly special. I had just informed the team about my father’s birthday, and I was pleasantly surprised by how thoughtfully everyone took care of us. They went out of their way to make the occasion memorable for our family. A special thanks to Sandeep for attending to our last-minute requests and making sure everything was taken care of. His personal attention and willingness to help really made a difference. A big thank you to Prashant from Shamiyana as well. He took excellent care of us during our meals and suggested some wonderful choices. His service was warm, attentive, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. I would also like to thank the entire Taj team. Everyone was extremely professional, courteous, and always ready to help whenever we needed anything. What stood out most was the genuine warmth and attention to detail. We came to celebrate my father’s 65th birthday, and thanks to the team, it became a beautiful memory that our family will always cherish. Thank you, Taj, Sandeep, Prashant, and the entire team for making our celebration so special. We truly had a great time and look forward to coming back again!
